Sunday Competition
Chris Ryan won the May Stroke event and the A grade monthly medal, with a nett 66, along with the jackpot on the Mitre 10 hole. Chris Elliott was the B grade winner on countback for his 70. Tony Clewett was the C grade winner on 74 also on countback. Included in the rundown were John Smith 69, Sam McDonald 70, Tom James 72 (and the Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th nearest the pin), Ian Peterson 73 (Lee and Thomas 13 drive and pitch), Mick Gray 73, Doug Stevens 74 and Tom Heath 75. Mitch Cook won the BC Training nearest the pin.
Sunday June 7 is a Stableford and Mystery Holes for the long weekend.
Membership prices for 2026/7 are to be Full $380, Pensioner $270, Junior $100 and Remote $210. This is a small rise from last year but still great value for all. These are available from June 1st.
Round 2 of the Kevin and Noeline Peterson Matchplay is to be completed by July 12.
For Euchre players there will be a Euchre afternoon on Saturday June 20. Members and their partners are welcome to put their names down at the clubhouse before then with the event to kick off from 12.45pm.
Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Competition
Alan Bill took out the top prize of the Goulburn Soldiers Club voucher last week with his 29 points. Craig Hussey was next best on 26 followed by Russell Schmitt and Kim Fahey both on 25. On 23 was Sam Cosgrove then Hayden Ward and Wayne Blay each with 22.
Ladies
The Tully Ladies played a stableford best 9 on Monday with Maxine McLaughlin scoring 23 points for the division 1 win. Division 2 saw a tie with Beryl Gray and Lil Ryan both scoring 21. Beryl Gray was nearest the pin on the Alan Bill Electrical 7th hole. The rundown included Georgina Cook 21, Barbara Miller 19 and Di Schmitt 18.
