Ladies Golf Results for 26th February 2024

Goulburn Soldiers Club Midweek Comp was won by Liam Harmer with 29 pts , Scott Sherer came 2nd with 24 pts followed by  Ken Wray , Hayden Ward , Chris Spillane , Pablo Mimoso & Doug Stevens all with 24 pts , Kim Fahey , Stephen Rigby , Eddie Anning & Russell Lieschke all with 22 pts , Andrew Finlaison & John Smith with 21 pts .

Sunday was the Monthly Medal which saw Doug Stevens win with 62 nett by C/B from Sam McDonald , Max Sakiasi was next with 66 nett , the Chris Elliott with 67 nett , Pablo Mimoso with 68 nett , Tony McLaughlin with 69 nett , the Bill Reid , Mitch Cook , Mick gray , Dean Horne & John Gray all with 70 nett . Bill Reid won  A Grade , Max Sakiasi won B Grade & Doug Stevens won C Grade . Mitch Cook won the Jackpot Hole , John Gray won the 7th NTP, Andrew Balabka won the 14th NTP , Bill Reid won the 13th D&P and Eddie Sivell won the 16th D&P

The Ladies competition was won by Georgina Cook with 27 points, Drive and Pitch was won  by Maxine McLaughlin  and Lil Ryan won the ball competition.

Ladies Golf Results , Monday 19th February 2024 , Ladies played 18 Hole Stroke & Putting Minimum 9 Holes , winner division 1 was Georgina Cook with 31 1/2 nett , division 2 winner was Ruth Beveridge with 31 2/3 nett , putting division 1 winner Georgina Cook  31 putts & winner division 2 was Ruth Beveridge 32 putts  , the ball rundown went to Heather Buchanan  34 nett, Maxine McLaughlin 36 nett & Lil Ryan with 36 nett .

Goulburn Soldiers Club Midweek Comp was won this week by Jon Gegg with 27 pts , second was Lindsay Sergeant with 26 pts along with Hayden ward & Jai Field , then followed by Jeff Edwards & Wayne Blay both with 25 pts, John Smith & Ian Baxter both with 24  pts , Ron Nunn , Jon Gegg & Darryl Robertson all with 23 pts , Phil Heath , Trent Cooper & Simon Jiang & Joseph Hunter all with 22 pts on a 10 card countback . Tom James got an eagle on the third hole .

Sunday’s Competition was an American Foursomes which saw Josh Ryrie & Matt James come out as overall winners with 57 strokes , James Will & Dylan Maddock came second on countback with 60 1/2 strokes from Gary Spence & Chris Elliott , Ian Baxter & Sam McDonald came in fourth with 64 strokes in a countback from Alan Bill & Russell Schmitt next were Chris Ryan & Tom Heath with 66 1/2 strokes . No one got close to the Jackpot Hole , Tony McLaughlin claimed the NTP 7th hole, James Will took the NTP 14th Hole , Joe Spurek & Tony McLaughlin  took the D&P 13th hole and Josh Ryrie & Matt James claimed the D&P 16th hole. Next week is the Monthly medal stroke event .

Ladies Golf Results for 12th February 2024 , the ladies played a 2 person ambrose with Maxine McLaughlin & Jenni Price with 71 3/4 strokes NTP went to Jenni & Maxine , the ball rundown went to Beryl Howe & heather Buchanan with 77 1/4 strokes

The Goulburn Soldiers Club Midweek comp was won by Brett Buckley with 26 pts , Adam Rowe was next best with 24 pts followed by Malcolm Young with 23 pts then Don Pennay , Phil Heath , Scott Sherer ,Ian Baxter and Chris Lewis all had 21 pts .

The Sunday Competition was a stableford and was won by Andrew Balabka with 39 pts , Chris Ryan came in second on C/B from Pablo Mimoso with 35 pts , Gary Spence and Ken Wray had 34 pts , Wade Pomery had 33 pts , Chris Lewis and Russell Schmitt had 32 pts and Ian Peterson had 31 pts . Chris Lewis won the mystery holes which were the 4th ,8th and 15th 8 pts on C/B from Andrew Balabka and Ian Peterson .Andrew Balabka also won the Jackpot Hole and the D&P 16th , Tony McLaughlin won the NTP 7th and NTP 14th ,Gary Spence won the D&P 13th

The Goulburn Soldiers Club Midweek Comp was won this week by Dean Horne convincingly withy 36 pts , Greg Robertson was next best with a score of 28 pts , followed by Tom James & Michael Maenpaa both with 27 pts , Joseph Hunter with 26 pts , Hayden Ward , Garry Handley & Jai Field all with 25 pts , Adam Rowe , Gordon Rankmore & John Blair all with 24 pts , Peter Webster , Scott Sherer & Ken Wray all with 23 pts and Eddie Anning on 22 pts on a 3 card C/B .

Sunday’s Competition was a 2 Person Ambrose which saw Wade Pomery & Tony McLaughlin win with 60 1/2 shots with 65 off the stick , Adam Rowe & Chris Lewis played on Saturday and shot 57 3/4 with 63 off the stick but were ineligible to win the prize  , Darrell Spence & Joe Spurek came in second with 62 1/2 shots , Glenn Baxter & Eddie Sivell had 63 3/4 shots , Pablo the mexican & Max Sakiasi  chad 64 1/4 shots and Marty Smith & Dean Hearne had 64 1/2 shots . Max Sakiasi won the Jackpot Hole , Wade Pomery won the 7th NTP , Wade Pomery & Tony McLaughlin won the 13th D&P , Bill Reid & Grant Mooney won the 16th D&P , no one got the 14th NTP .
