Sunday Competition

Andrew Balabka won the A Grade Monthly Medal and Stroke event for August with nett 64 along with the jackpot on the Mitre 10 hole. Max Sakiasi scored nett 68 for the B Grade and was nearest the pin for the Goulburn Soldiers Club 9^th. Tony Clewett won the C grade with 69 nett. The ball rundown included Ian Baxter 69 (drive and pitch Lee and Thomas 13^th ) , Greg Granger 70 (drive and pitch Carpet Court 16^th), Ken Wray 70, Simon Jian (nearest the pin , Sam McDonald and Ray Turner (n.t p Alan Bill Electrical 7^th and Workers Club 8^th) all had 71.

Sunday September 6 is a single stableford for Father’s day.

Alan McDonald 26 was last weeks Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole winner . Terry Berg came in second on 24 and Ian Baxter 23 and Ken Wray 23 on countback were in the rundown.

Ladies

Ratna Rankmore scored 37 points last week to win division 1 of the stableford event, Lil Ryan had 36 points for division 2 as well as taking the nearest the pin. The ball rundown included Barbara Miller 33 points and Frances Miners 32.

Tully Park Annual General Meeting is on Sunday August 30 at 1pm at the Tully clubhouse. All members are invited to attend.

Sunday Competition

Doug Stevens and Dean Horne proved too good for the rest of the field returning a 64.5 nett in the 2 person ambrose on Sunday. Second place went to the team of Mark Alamango and Tom James on countback over Ken Wray and Don Grimston and Glenn Baxter and Simon Jiang after the three teams finished on 65.25.  Finishing the rundown were Charlie Weston and Brock Caffyn on 65.75.

The Mitre 10 jackpot hole was won by Tom James and Nearest the pins went to Dean Horne (BC Training 6^th ), Alan McDonald ( Alan Bill Electrical 7^th), Luke Wray (Goulburn Soldiers Club 9^th), Max Sakiasi (Goulburn Soldiers Club 14^th). Drive and pitch was won by Alan Bill and Russell Schmitt on the Lee and Thomas 13^th and Sam McDonald and Roly Wong on the Carpet Court 16^th.

Ian Baxter had a great round with 30 points for the 12 holes last week with Scott Berg next best on 28. Included in the rundown were Alan McDonald 25, Eddie Hawkins 24, Craig Brown 23, Tery Beg 23 and Ken Wray on 22.

Maxine Mclaughlin won division 1 stroke event last Monday with nett 69 along with the putting prize with 27 putts. Barbara Miller took division 2 with nett 68 and Lil Ryan won the putting with 30. The rundown included Ratna Rankmore 75 and Lil Ryan 76 nett

Sunday Competition

Luke Wray and Tony McLaughlin teamed up to score 42 points to win the Stableford best ball event on Sunday. Tony also backed up with Ian Baxter to finish 2^nd on 41. Next best were Russell Schmitt and Alan Bill 40, Mick Regterschot/ Andrew Balabka 40, and finishing the rundown Roly Wong and Greg Granger.

Max Sakiasa won the jackpot Mitre 10 hole and the Lee and Thomas drive and pitch (13^th) while Tom James won the nearest the pin on BC Training 6^th and the Carpet Court drive and pitch. Ken Wray led the way on Sunday with 38 points in the stableford event. Doug Stevens took second on 37 followed by Ray Turner and Russell Schmitt each with 36. Dean Horne had 35, Alan Bill 34 and Alan McDonald had 33 for the rundown.

Georgina Cook won the overall gross for the stroke and putting last Monday with 88. Ratna Rankmore won division 1 nett with 68 and Berly Gray won division 2 on countback with 63. The ball rundown included Lil Ryan 63 and Frances Miners 71. Putting prizes for the day went to Georgina cook 26 and Gail Kennerley 33 for divisions 1 and 2 respectively.

Sunday Competition

The Bowmaker event saw the team of Sam McDonald/ Tom James/ Ian Baxter and Tony McLaughlin take a win with 119 points. Second place went to Brock Caffyn/ Doug Stevens/ Dean Horne/ Greg Granger on 116. The rundown went to Tony Clewett/Ken Wray/ Ian Peterson/ Don Grimston with 105 and Russell Schmitt/ Alan Bill/ Alan McDonald/ Lindsay Sergeant on 100.

The Mitre 10 jackpot was won by Greg Ganger. Nearest the pins went to Ken Wray on the Alan Bill Electrical 7^th, Tony McLaughlin took the Worker’s Club 8^th and Justin Cross the Goulburn Soldiers Club 9^th.

Drive and Pitch for the Lee and Thomas 13 was won by Max Sakiasi and Tom Heath won the Carpet Court 16^th.
