Tully Park Golf 26/6/2022

Sunday Competition

Mick Regterschot too0k the B grade monthly medal on his way to a win in the stroke event on Sunday with a nett 67. Ian Baxter took second place honours for his 68 with Russell Lieschke (69) taking A grade, Max Sakiasi (69), Mac Fife (70, Ray Turner (70), Tom Heath (72), Tony McLaughlin (72), Corey Wilmot (72) and Bill Reid (73) all in the ball rundown after a 6 card countback.  C Grade was won by Darrell Spence on 73. Roly Wong took the jackpot hole with 5.2m on the Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th, Don Grimston was nearest the pin on the Mitre 10 hole and Mick Regterschot won the drive and pitch on Aaron’s Trees 12th.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole

Russell Lieschke scored 26 points to win the 12 hole Goulburn Soldiers comp last week with Andrew Barrett and John Smith both close behind on 25. Ryan Saville, Lindsay Sergeant, Ron Nunn and Graham Tasker each had 24. On 23 were Harry Coughlin and Mark Berrrisford and Wayne Blay took the final ball on countback for his 22.

 

Ladies

Maxine McLaughlin and Frances Miners both finished on nett 68 for the stroke event last Monday to take out division 1 and 2 respectively. Joy Leary was next best on 73 followed by Beryl Howe 75 and Georgina Cook 77. Putting prizes went to Maxine with 32 and Beryl Gray 35.

K & N Peterson Matchplay Draw Round 3

Sponsored by the Goulburn Power Centre, the matchplay finals sees Ray Turner to play the winner of Brett Buckley and Mark Berrisford for the title for 2022.

Notices:  Sunday July 3 Stableford 4BBB. Memberships for 2022/23 are now available for new members and renewals. The most anyone pays is only $290. Sunday July 24 is a 4 person ambrose so get your teams ready. Great work by Luke and the Tully volunteers keeping the course looking so good and to the clubhouse warriors for their efforts keeping the clubhouse clean and running.

Sunday Competition

Darrell Spence proved too good for the competition after returning +3 for the Par event on Sunday. Roly Wong was next best with +2 followed by Max Sakiasi and Ray Turner each on +1. Trent Cooper finished square while Simon Jiang, Tony McLaughlin and Chris Ryan made the rundown on -1 in a four card countback.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Comp

Russell Lieschke took top honours with 26 points last week followed by Roly Wong 23, Maxine McLaughlin 22, Mark Berrisford 22 and Lindsay Sergeant 22. On 21 was Jeff Edwards and on 20 Mick McDonald and Tony Clewett. Graham tasker took the final ball on 19 on countback.

Ladies

Beryl Gray scored 32 points to win the ladies stableford last week with Maxine McLaughlin coming in with 30. Beryl Howe won the mystery hole for the Mitre 10, Argyle Cleaning and Alan Bill Electrical holes with 7 points.

Sunday Competition

On a cold and blustery day Ray Turner took top honours with 72 after a countback over Ian Peterson. John Smith 74 and Tom James 75 made up the rundown and won the drive and pitch on the Aaron’s trees hole. Chris Ryan picked up the jackpot on the Mitre 10 hole and Russell Lieschke was nearest the pin on the Goulburn Soldiers Club hole.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Comp

Russell Schmitt scored 25 for the Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole competition last week .Eddie Anning was next best on 23. On 22 were Mick Gray and Max Sakiasi, on 21 Jeff Edwards, Mick McDonald and Henry Galland. Russell Lieschke scored 20 and Eddie Hawkins took the final ball after a 4 card countback on 19.

Ladies

Wet weather saw the ladies golf cancelled last week.

Sunday Competition

Russell Schmitt held it together in windy conditions on Sunday on his way to 36 points for a win in the stableford event. Ian pet5erson proved best of three players for second place after he, Tom James and Mick Regterschot each had 33 points. Bill Reid had 32 along with Tony McLaughlin and Roly Wong had 31 for the rundown. Tom James won the mystery holes for the Goulburn Soldiers Club, Free-One Design and The Agency holes with 10 points. Ian Peterson won the nearest the pin on Jewell Builders hole and Tony McLaughlin took the drive and pitch on D.One Accounting. The jackpot hole will carry over for another week.,

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole

The cold and wet conditions affected the field last week but not the results as Tony McLaughlin beat Josh Cooper in a countback after both scored 27 points. Next best were Max Sakiasi and Mick Regterschot both with 23.

Ladies

Beryl Howe prevailed in wintery conditions with 30 points for the stableford event for the Tully ladies. Frances Miners had a good day for her 29 and took out the mystery holes for Priceline 2nd, Goulburn Soldiers Club 11th and Argyle Cleaning 15th with 11 points.

K & N Peterson Matchplay Draw Round 3

Matches remaining M Berrisford v Mac Fife, Roly Wong v Graham Tasker, Ray Turner v Eddie Sivell. Due to be completed. By June 30

Slater Drafting Par 3

Graham Mansfield won the June Slater Drafting with nett 25 just ahead of Noel James and Elsey Slater both on 26. The July round will be on 9.
