Sunday Competition

Gary Spence had a countback win for the stroke monthly medal on Sunday over Josh Cooper after both finished on 70 nett. Gary took the A grade while Josh was the B grade winner. Don Grimston showed age is no barrier as he took the C grade with nett 74. In the rundown for the day were: Phil Elliott 72, Jeremy Ryan 73, Jeremy Harrison 74, Ray Turner 74, Lachlan Bill 75 and on 77 Mac Fife and Russ Schmitt. Lachlan Bill won the Gordon Hotel drive and pitch while Russell Lieschke took the Goulburn Soldiers Club nearest the pin.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole

Tim Elliott was back in the winners circle last week for the Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole comp with 25 points followed by Mick Regterschot on 24. On 23 were Alan McDonald, Tony Clewitt and Russell Lieschke then  Russell Schmitt 22, then Malcolm Young, Eddie Hawkins and Trent Cooper all on 21.

Ladies

Julia Scamperle took the Division 1 stroke and putting wins last week with nett 76 and 30 putts. Beryl Howe took division 2 stroke with 72 while June Spillane won the putting with 29. The rundown included Joy Leary, June Spillane and Beryl Gray each on 76 nett.

K &N Peterson Matchplay

The Semi-finalists have been determined with Elsey Slater due to play Max Sakiasi and Jeremy Harrison to play Ian Peterson. There are a few weeks to get the games organised but sooner is better than too late.

Sunday Competition
Phil Elliott returned to form with +5 for the par event om Sunday. Mick Regterschot was next best on +3 and then Lindsay Sergeant on +1. Bill Reid scored -1 and took the Mitre 10 nearest the pin, Ryan Saville, Mark Berrisford and Ian Peterson all finished on -1 as well. Gary Spence took the Carpet Court drive and pitch.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole
24 points was enough to get Russell Schmitt over the line for the $25 voucher from the Goulburn Soldiers Club. Anthony Cooper and Eddie Hawkins each had 22, Mick Regterschot, Tony Clewett, Lindsay Sergeant and Greg Maskill made up the rundown on 20 on countback. The comp will be played on the inland course this week.

Ladies
Maxine McLaughlin backed up from last week with a 33 point round to win the stableford event. Beryl Howe 26 and Di Schmitt 25 were the next best in for the competition. Maxine also took the drive and pitch on the Mitre 10 hole.

K &N Peterson Matchplay
Round 4 matches are underway with the competition heading onto the final few weeks. Elsey Slater has gone through to the final 4 but still to match up are Bill Reid and Max Sakiasi, Lachlan Bill and Jeremy Harrison, Michael Wilson and Ian Peterson. These matches are due to be played by July 2.

Sunday Competition

Russell Schmitt scraped home in a countback win over Ray Turner after both finished on 68 nett in the stroke event on Sunday. Mac Fife and Trent Cooper both had 69 nett while Eddie Hawkins 70 and Ken Wray 71 (c/b) made the rundown. Tim Elliott won the nearest the pin on the Goulburn Soldiers Club 12th and Lachlan Bill took the drive and pitch on Aaron’s trees 12th.

Stan Geale took home last weeks $25 voucher from the Goulburn Soldiers Club with 25 points. In the rundown for the week were Don Grimston 23, Greg Maskill 22 and after a countback on 21 Beryl Gray, Lachlan Bill and Graham Tasker.

Ladies

Maxine McLaughlin had a welcome return to golf with a win in the stroke event for her nett 80 in division 1 along with the prize for her 32 putts. Division 2 was won by Beryl Howe on nett 76 and only 31 putts. The rundown included Beryl Gray on 81 and Heather Buchanan 82.

Sunday Competition

Mark Berrisford’s 36 point round was good enough for a win in the stableford event. Trent Cooper had a good round with 35 points, the nearest the pin for the Mitre 10 and the drive and pitch on the Gordon Hotel holes. Mac Fife Bill reid and Chris Ryan each also made 35. The rundown included Ken Wray, Russell Lieschke and Lindsay Sergeant all on 33 on countback.

Lindsay Sergeant scored 28 points last week for a win in the Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole comp with Russell Schmitt next on 25. Kevin Breen made played well for his 24 points followed by Beryl Gray, Russell Lieschke, Stephen Rigby and Brett Buckley all in 23. Alan McDonald finished the rundown with 22.

Ladies

Georgina Cook and Heather Buchanan teamed up for the ladies 2 person ambrose last week coming in with nett 73.75. Teams of Ruth Beveridge/ Beryl Gray and Di Schmitt/ Beryl Howe were next  best on 75. With Kate McDonald and Anne Hyde coming in with 76.25. Heather Buchanan took the nearest the pin on the Capital Country Plumbing and Georgina Cook had the best drive on the Mitre 10 hole.

Slater Drafting Par 3

The June Par 3 event is was won by Jason Slater with nett 25. Ned Slater and Anthony Cooper were in the rundown both on 29

Kevin Peterson matchplay

Round 3 is underway with matches due to be played by June 17.
