Tully Park Annual General Meeting is on Sunday August 30 at 1pm at the Tully clubhouse. All members are invited to attend.

Sunday Competition

Doug Stevens and Dean Horne proved too good for the rest of the field returning a 64.5 nett in the 2 person ambrose on Sunday. Second place went to the team of Mark Alamango and Tom James on countback over Ken Wray and Don Grimston and Glenn Baxter and Simon Jiang after the three teams finished on 65.25.  Finishing the rundown were Charlie Weston and Brock Caffyn on 65.75.

The Mitre 10 jackpot hole was won by Tom James and Nearest the pins went to Dean Horne (BC Training 6th ), Alan McDonald ( Alan Bill Electrical 7th), Luke Wray (Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th), Max Sakiasi (Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th). Drive and pitch was won by Alan Bill and Russell Schmitt on the Lee and Thomas 13th and Sam McDonald and Roly Wong on the Carpet Court 16th.

Sunday August 30 is the August Stroke Monthly Medal round.

Quarter final round of the Kevin and Noeline Peterson Matchplay is to be completed by August 30.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Competition

Ian Baxter had a great round with 30 points for the 12 holes last week with Scott Berg next best on 28. Included in the rundown were Alan McDonald 25, Eddie Hawkins 24, Craig Brown 23, Tery Beg 23 and Ken Wray on 22.

The annual Kevin Allen Consistency Competition starts Wed Sept 2 from 12pm, thanks to Val Allen for her continued sponsorship of this great event.

Ladies

Maxine Mclaughlin won division 1 stroke event last Monday with nett 69 along with the putting prize with 27 putts. Barbara Miller took division 2 with nett 68 and Lil Ryan won the putting with 30. The rundown included Ratna Rankmore 75 and Lil Ryan 76 nett

Sunday Competition

Luke Wray and Tony McLaughlin teamed up to score 42 points to win the Stableford best ball event on Sunday. Tony also backed up with Ian Baxter to finish 2nd on 41. Next best were Russell Schmitt and Alan Bill 40, Mick Regterschot/ Andrew Balabka 40, and finishing the rundown Roly Wong and Greg Granger.

Max Sakiasa won the jackpot Mitre 10 hole and the Lee and Thomas drive and pitch (13th) while Tom James won the nearest the pin on BC Training 6th and the Carpet Court drive and pitch. Other nearest the pins went to Sam McDonald (Alan Bill Electrical 7th), Alan Bill (Worker’s Club 8th) and Russell Schmitt (Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th).

Sunday August 23 is a 2 person ambrose so get your teams ready.

Ken Wray scored 28 points for the Goulburn Soldiers club 12 hole competition last week ahead of Lindsay Sergeant 26, Ian Baxter 24, Phil Heath 24, Alan McDonald 23, Scott Berg 23 and Jeff Edwards finishing the rundown with 23.

Ladies

Ratna Rankmore won the division 1 of the stableford event last week with 30 points and Barbara Miller took division 2 with 33 points. The rundown went to Georgina Cook 27, Maxine Mclaughlin 26 and beryl Gray 17. Mystery Holes winner was Maxine on 7 points on the Priceline Pharmacy 2nd, Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th and 14th holes.

Sunday Competition

Ken Wray led the way on Sunday with 38 points in the stableford event. Doug Stevens took second on 37 followed by Ray Turner and Russell Schmitt each with 36. Dean Horne had 35, Alan Bill 34 and Alan McDonald had 33 for the rundown.

Chris Ryan won the Mitre 10 jackpot home nearest the along with drive and pitch on the Lee and Thomas 13th. Other nearest the pins went to Max Sakiasi (BC Training 6th) Ian Baxter (Workers Club 8th) and Mick Regterschot (Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th). Greg Granger won the drive and pitch for the Carpet Court 16th and Wade Pomery was nearest the pin ( Alan Bill Electrical 7th ) and won the Mystery Holes for August on the Goulburn Solar 3rd, Aaron’s trees 12th , and Scott Reid Plumbing 18th with 7 points.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Competition

Dean Horne took top prize last week with a 28 point round for the Goulburn Soldiers club 12 hole competition. Back on 24 points were Phil Heath and Garry Handley and on 23, also in the rundown, were Scott Berg Maxine McLaughlin and Ken Wray.

Ladies

Georgina Cook won the overall gross for the stroke and putting last Monday with 88. Ratna Rankmore won division 1 nett with 68 and Berly Gray won division 2 on countback with 63. The ball rundown included Lil Ryan 63 and Frances Miners 71. Putting prizes for the day went to Georgina cook 26 and Gail Kennerley 33 for divisions 1 and 2 respectively.

Sunday Competition

The Bowmaker event saw the team of Sam McDonald/ Tom James/ Ian Baxter and Tony McLaughlin take a win with 119 points. Second place went to Brock Caffyn/ Doug Stevens/ Dean Horne/ Greg Granger on 116. The rundown went to Tony Clewett/Ken Wray/ Ian Peterson/ Don Grimston with 105 and Russell Schmitt/ Alan Bill/ Alan McDonald/ Lindsay Sergeant on 100.

The Mitre 10 jackpot was won by Greg Ganger. Nearest the pins went to Ken Wray on the Alan Bill Electrical 7th, Tony McLaughlin took the Worker’s Club 8th and Justin Cross the Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th.

Drive and Pitch for the Lee and Thomas 13 was won by Max Sakiasi and Tom Heath won the Carpet Court 16th.

Craig Brown scraped in a win for last week’s 12 hole Goulburn Soldiers Club competition with 26 points, followed by Kerry Bensley on 25. On 24 were Phil heath, Garry Handley, Greg Maskill, Ken Wray and Scott Berg. Finishing the rundown was Simon Jiang on 23.

The Tully Ladies played a 2 person ambrose with the winnners being Maxine McLaughlin and Beryl Gray with 70 on countback from Ratna Rankmore and Frances Miners. Nearest the pin team for the Mitre 10 hole was Ratna and Frances. Ball rundown went to Georgina Cook and Lil Ryan 73 and Di Schmitt and Gail Kennerley 74.5.

Sunday Competition

Ian Peterson had a “winning day” on Sunday as his 64 nett took the Stroke event on countback and  the B grade monthly Medal for July along with the nearest the pins for the Worker’s Club 8th and Goulburn Soldier’s Club 9th holes. Ray Turner won the A grade medal with 64 nett and was nearest the pin for the Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th. Alan McDonald had nett 70 for the C grade medal.

The ball rundown included Tony McLaughliun 67, Mitch Cook 69, Russell Schmitt, Dean Horne, Mick Gray and Kerry Bensley all on 70, and Doug Stevens on 71 on countback.

Mick Gray also won the Mitre 10 jackpot hole while Andrew Balabka was nearest the pin for the Alan Bill Electrical 7th. Dive and Pitch prizes went to Mitch Cook (Lee and Thomas 13th) and Bill Reid (Carpet Court 16th).

Stepping into the winner’s circle for the first time in a while was Garry Handley on 28 points. Doug Stevens, Ray Turner, Ken Wray, Maxine Mclaughlin, and Scott Berg all finished on 25. On 24 were Dean Horne and Greg Maskill and on 23 Eddie Hawkins.

Maxine McLaughlin won division 1 of the stroke event with nett 71 while Barbara Miller took division 2 with 74. Putting prizes went to Maxine  with 31 (div 1) and Lil Ryan and Gail Kennerley both 34 (div 2). The rundown went to Gail 75 and Lil 79 nett.

Sunday Competition

The stableford 1,2,3 best ball event was won by the team of Luke Wray, Dean Horne, Doug Stevensand Tony McLaughlin with 82 points. Dean also won the nearest the pin on the BC Training 6th and took the jackpot on the Mitre 10 5th holes, while Tony was nearest the pin on the Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th.

Second place went to Tom Heath, Jeremy Harrison , Chris Ryan and Ray Turner with 80 points. Chris was nearest the pin on the Alan Bill Electrical 7th and Ray won the drive and pitch for the Carpet Court 16th.

The rundown included the team of Alan Bill, Alan McDonald, Lindsay Sergeant and Russell Schmitt on 75.

Nearest the pin for the Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th was Sam McDonald and Ian Peterson won the Lee and Thomas 13th drive and pitch.

Ken Wray won the 12 hole competition with 23 points last week ahead of Maxine McLaughlin and Greg Maskil each with 22. Lindsay Sergeant and Glenn Baxter each scored 21, Jeff Edwards made 20 and Alan McDonald finished the rundown after a countback on 19.

Ladies

Maxine McLaughlin won division 1 of the stableford event with 30 points, Barbara Miller had 39 for division 2. Gail Kennerley was in the rundown with 37 points and won the mystery holes for 5 points on Jeremy Ryan Plumbing 4th, D.One Accounting 11th and ARW 15th holes.

Sunday Competition

Ken Wray stepped onto the winner’s podium with 35 point in Sunday’s stableford event. Chris Ryan came in with 34 points and also won the Mystery Holes for July getting 6 points on the CL Concrete 10th, The Agency 15th and Scott Reid Plumbing 18th holes, and the was closest to the pin for the Mitre 10 hole Jackpot.

Tony Clewett also had 34 points, Tony McLaughlin had 31 and won the nearest the pins on the Goulburn Soldiers Club holes of both the 9th and 14th, and Dean Horne finished the rundown on 31.

Ian Peterson won the Lee and Thomas 13th hole drive and pitch.

Sunday July 4 Person 1,2,3 Stableford Best ball

Dean Horne won last week’s Goulburn Soldiers Club voucher with 23 points followed by Doug Stevens and Gary Handley both on 22. On 21 were Glenn Baxter and Ken Wray and finishing the rundown on 20 after countback were Tony Clewett and Tony McLaughlin.

Ladies

The Stroke and putting competition last Monday was won by Ratna Rankmore with a gross round of 103. Division 1 was won by Georgina Cook 78 while Gail Kennerley took division 2 with 72. The rundown included Barbara Miller 77 and Maxine Mclaughlin 84. Putting prizes went to  Ratna with 32 and Gail 31.

Alan McDonald and Russell Schmitt teamed up for a nett score of 68.625 to win the American Foursome event on Sunday. Next best in was the team of Duncan Gray and Nick Hedley on 72.25. The rundown also included the teams of Tony Clewett/Ian Peterson 72.5 and Sam McDonald/ Tom James 74.5.

The Mitre 10 jackpot hole was won by Nick Hedley while the nearest the pins went to Tony Clewett (Alan Bill Electrical 7th), Sam McDonald (Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th) and Luke Wray (Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th). Dive and pitch prizes went to the teams of Ian Peterson/ Tony Clewett (Lee and Thomas 13th) and Tom James/ Sam McDonald (Carpet Court 16th)

Ray Turner was last week’s winner on countback with 23 points for the Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole event over Tony McLaughlin and Ian Baxter. Greg Maskil had 22 points and Garry Handley 20 on countback took the final ball for the rundown. Get ready for the Annual Kevin Allen Consistency Competition coming up in September.

Di Schmitt won division 1 in the 3 stick event last Monday with  24 points. Division 2 was won by Gail Kennerley on 32 points. The rundown included Beryl Gray 28 and Lil Ryan 27. Nearest the pin was Georgina Cook on the Priceline Pharmacy 2nd.

Sunday Competition

Sam McDonald won the B grade Monthly Medal for June, as well as the drive and pitch on the Carpet Court 16th, with his nett 67 round on Sunday. Ray Turner took the A Grade medal on 71 and Luke Wray won the C grade on 74.

The rundown for the day included Ian Baxter 72, Russell Schmitt 73 and nearest the pin on the Workers Club 8th, Tony McLaughlin 73 along with the Jackpot Mitre 10 hole and Goulburn Soldiers14th nearest the pin. Lindsay Sergeant had 76, Doug Stevens 77 and on 78 Alan McDonald and Tom Heath after a countback.

Other winners on the day were Andrew Balabka, Alan Bill Electrical 7th nearest the pin and Lee and Thomas drive and pitch for the13th, and Bill Reid nearest the pin for the Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th.

Gail Kennerley won division 1 for the stableford event last week with 36 points. Division 2 was won by Lil Ryan with 28. The rundown for the day were Georgina Cook 31 and Ratna Rankmore 30. The Mystery Holes for the Goulburn Solar 3rd, Alan Bill Electrical 7th and Lee and Thomas 13th was won by Ratna Rankmore.

The 4 Ball Aggregate on Sunday was won by the team of Roly Wong and Dean Horne with 69 points. Sam McDonald and Tom James came second on 62. The rundown that went to 58 included the teams of Alan McDonald /Lindsay Sergeant  61 and Mitch Cook/ Andrew Balabka 61.

Mitch Cook won the jackpot Mitre 10 hole as well as the Workers Club 8th. Sam McDonald was nearest the pin on the BC Training 6th, Ray Turner took the Alan Bill Electrical 7th, Russell Schmitt won the Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th and Max Sakiasi took the Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th. The drive and pitch prizes went to Tony McLaughlin for the Lee and Thomas 13th and Greg Granger on the Carpet Court 16th.

Tully Ladies played a stroke round last week with Ratna Rankmore the winner on nett 76 for division 1 and Barbara Miller winning division 2 with 74. Georgina Cook led the rundown on 80 and Gail Kennerley was next best on 82. The putting prizes went to Ratna on 31 and Barbara 34.
