Sunday Competition

The winner of the stroke event and A grade monthly medal for January was Josh Cooper with a nett score of 63. Graham Tasker took the C Grade with nett 67 followed by Lachlan Bill 68, Tony Clewett 68, Eddie Sivell 69 (and B Grade medal) , John Smith 69, Gary Spence 69, Di Schmitt 69 and Eddie Hawkins 70 on countback made up the rundown. Congratulations to Russell Lieschke for his eagle on The Agency 15th hole.

The Nearest the Pin on the Mitre 10 hole was Trent Cooper while the Drive and Pitch for the Goulburn Prostate Cancer Support 4th was unclaimed.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole comp

Ron Nunn took out the competition last week with a welcome return to form for his 29 points. Lachlan Bill was next best on 28 followed by Gordon Rankmore, Bryan Norris and Anthony Cooper all on 27. Garry Hndley and Graham Tasker both has 26 in a rundown that went to 24 points.

Sunday Competition

The stableford event on Sunday was won by Gary Spence on 42 points. The rundown for the day included Simon Jiang 40, Don Grimston 38, Josh Cooper 37, Ken Wray 37, Alan McDonald 37 and Ray Turner 37. Mystery holes for January went to a 4 card countback and was won by John Smith with 8 points on the BC Training,(6th), Goulburn Soldiers Club (9th) and Argyle Cleaning (17th) holes.

The Drive and Pitch for the Millenium Windows 1st was Russell Lieschke and the Nearest the Pin on the Worker’s club 8th was Gary Spence.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole comp

Bryson Plumb scored 29 points to take top honours last week over the 12 holes. Malcolm Young was next best on 26 followed by Gordon Rankmore And Ron Nunn both on 24, Stephen Rigby 23 and John Peterson 22 on countback.

Sunday Competition

The Sunday Stableford Maximum 9 competition was won by Josh Cooper who finished with 28 as his best 9 scores for the round. The ball rundown included Mac Fife 27, Simon Jiang 25, John Smith 25, Ray Turner 24 and Dopn Grimston and Graham Tasker both on 23 on countback. Trent Cooper took the eagles nest on the Merino Fuels 3rd.

The Drive and Pitch for the Lee and Thomas 13th was John Smith and the Nearest the pin on the Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th was Michael Wilson.

Eddie Hawkins took home the $25 Goulburn Soldiers Club voucher with his 31 points for the 12 holes last week. Graham Tasker was next best on 27, Mark Berrisford came in with 26, followed by Brian Larkin and Ryan Saville both on 25, Russell Schmitt on 24, and Anthony Cooper and Malcolm Young finished the rundown on countback both with 23.

Slater Drafting Service Par 3

Beryl Gray started her year off well with a nett 21 for the January Par 3 event to chalk up her first win for the year. Ross Stacey also played well for his 23 and Elsey Slater finished 3rd with 25.

Tully Park Golf 5/1/2020

Sunday Competition

Simon Jiang was the top performer in Sunday’s smoky conditions with 41 points and the Capital Country Plumbing nearest the pin on the 7th in the stableford event. Jeremy Harrison returned 39 points followed by Ron Nunn on 38 Russell Schmitt 35 and Chris Elliott 34 on countback. Phil Elliott was the Gordon Hotel drive and pitch winner for the day on the 11th.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Comp

Wayne James led the way with 28 points last week just pipping Alan McDonald at the post with his 27. Mitchell Clarke returned 25 points while Ryan Saville and Don Grimston both had 24. Simon Jiang made up the rundown on 23 on countback.
