Tully Park Golf 29/03/2026

Sunday Competition

The March B grade monthly medal and stroke event winner was Tony Mclaughlin with a nett 66. Ray Turner took second place and the A grade medal for his 67and Luke Wary won C grade with 69. Making up the rundown were Tom James 68, Russell Schmitt 70, Roly Wong 70, Dean Horne 71 and Tom Heath 71 on countback. The jackpot hole was won by Greg Granger on the Mitre 10 hole with nearest the pins going to Tom James BC Training 6th , Ian Peterson Alan Bill Electrical 7th, Ray Turner Workers Club 8th  and Chris Ryan taking the two Goulburn Soldiers Club holes 9 and 14. The drive and pitch holes went to Tom James Lee and Thomas 13th  and Ray Turner Carpet Court 16th .

Sunday April 5 is a Stableford and Mystery holes round for Easter.

Nomination are now being taken at the clubhouse for both:

The Kevin and Noeline Peterson Matchplay Event . Names are due by March 31.

And the RSL v Tully 4BBB Stableford on April 12 at Goulburn Golf Club. Names are due by Wed April 8.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Competition

Wayne Blay scored 28 points to take the prize for last week’s Goulburn Soldiers Club midweek competition. Stephen Rigby was next best on 26. Ian Baxter, Kim Fahey, Maxine McLaughlin and Angela Deacon each had 24 and Craig Brown 23, and Terry Berg 22 made up the rundown.

There will be changes to the handicapping for the midweek competition soon so keep an eye out for the notices in coming weeks.   This will mean a special handicap for the competition as will be shown on your phone.

Ladies

The first medal round of the year saw Gail Kennerley win the division 1 with nett 65 and Beryl Gray took division 2 on 74 as well as the putting prize with 32. Div 1 putting went to Georgina Cook with 28. The rundown included Barbara Miller 74, Georgina Cook 75 and Maxine Mclaughlin 76.

Sunday Competition

Mick Gray and Kerry Bensley teamed up for an excellent 72 points in the Stableford Aggregate to win on countback over Chris Ryan and Tom Heath. Roly Wong and Simon Jiang scored 67, John Smith and Chris Elliott 62 and Tom James and Sam McDonald scored 58 for the rundown.

Roly Wong won the jackpot on the Mitre 10 hole and the Carpet Court 16th drive and pitch. Nearest the Pins were won by Tom James (BC Training 6th and drive and pitch on Lee and Thomas 13th), Chris Ryan (Alan Bill Electrical 7th and Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th ),Tom Heath (Workers Club 8th ), and John Smith (Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th).

Sunday March 29 is the stoke Monthly Medal round.

Stephen Rigby topped the leader board last week in the Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole competition with 25 points. Ian Baxter, Tony McLaughlin and Tony Clewett each had 24 followed by Don Grimston 21 then Craig Brown and Lil Ryan 20 on countback.

There will be changes to the handicapping for the midweek competition soon so keep an eye out for the notices in coming weeks.

Ladies

Gail Kennerley won the division 1 stroke event last week with nett 71 and Barbara Miller won division 2 on 73. The rundown included Maxine McLaughlin 74, Georgina cook 79, Berly Gray 81 and Frances Miners 83. The putting competition were won by Ratna Rankmore 30 and Lil Ryan 32.

 

Joe Fehir Memorial Mixed Foursomes

Frances Miners and Tony McLaughlin now have back to back wins in the Joe Fehir Memorial Mixed Foursomes after scoring a nett 60 on Saturday. Gail Kennerley and Ian Peterson finished in second with 62 and Di Schmitt and Russell Schmitt were third on 69.5.

Sunday Competition

Alan Bill and Russell Schmitt teamed up for a nett 62 to win the 2 person Ambrose event on Sunday just ahead of Sam McDonald and Tom James on 62.25. Greg Granger and Luke Wray posted 64.25 and Ian Peterson and Tony Clewett had 66.75 for the rundown.

The jackpot on the Mitre 10 hole went to Jeremy Harrison, nearest the pins went to Chris Elliott (Alan Bill Electrical 7th and Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th), Gary Spence (Workers Club 8th) and Alan Bill (Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th). The drive and pitch prizes went to Ian Peterson/ Tony Clewett (Lee and Thomas 13th) and Jeremy Harrison/ Eddie Hawkins (Carpet Court 16th)

Sunday March 22 is a 4 Ball  Aggregate. Saturday March 21 Joe Fehir Memorial Mixed Foursome event. Teams are asked to be at the clubhouse by 8.30 for a shotgun start at 9am. Thanks to all of our great volunteers for their help around the clubhouse and course.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Competition

Terry Berg scored 25 points last week to take the Goulburn Soldiers Club voucher. Malcolm Young had 23 followed by Craig Brown and Tony Clewett on 22. Also in the rundown were Brian Larkin and Steve Rigby on 21 and Lindsay Sergeant, Alan McDonald and Tony McLaughlin each on 20 on countback.

Ladies

Maxine McLaughlin scored 28 points last Monday to win division 1 of the stableford event. Barbara Miller scored 31 for a win in division 2. Gail Kennerley 27 and Beryl Gray 20 and Lil Ryan 18 were in the rundown.

Sunday Competition

Chris Ryan won the stableford event on Sunday with 40 points. Roly Wong took second with 39. Luke Wray had 35 and won the mystery holes with 8 points. Tony McLaughlin and Ray Turner each had 34, on 33 were Ken Wray and Mark Ryan, Glenn Baxter had 32 and  Simon Jiang finished the rundown on 31.

The Mitre 10 Jackpot hole caries over to next week. Nearest the pins went to Simon Jiang (BC Training 6th), Dean Horne (Alan Bill Electrical 7th), Chris Elliott (Worker’s Club  8th & Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th ) and Mick Regterschot  Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th ). The drive and pitch prizes went to Russell Schmitt (Lee and Thomas 13th ) and Mark Ryan Carpet Court 16th ).

Sunday March 15 is a 2 Person Ambrose. Saturday March 21 Joe Fehir Memorial Mixed Foursome event. Check at the clubhouse for details and to register. Thanks to all of our great volunteers for their help around the clubhouse and course. Committee meeting Tuesday March 10 at clubhouse.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Competition

Glenn Baxter won last weeks event with 23 points for the 12 holes. Craig Brown took second place with 21 and included in the run down were Wayne Blay and Ken Wray both on 20.

Ladies

Division 1 of the stroke event saw Maxine Mclaughlin win the Gross on 104, Gail Kennerley took the nett prize on 76 and Rantna Rankmore was the putting winner on 32. For division 2 Lil Ryan won the gross with 121, the nett was won by Barbara Miller on 80 as well as the putting with 37.

The rundown included Ratna Rankmore 84 and Berly Gray 93.

Sunday Competition

Mick Gray and Kerry Bensley teamed up to win the Canadian Foursomes on Sunday with a nett 66 and 7/8. The rundown went to Chris Ryan and Ray Turner 67.5 and Tony McLaughlin and Luke Wray 71 and 7/8. Mick Gray also picked up the Mitre 10 jackpot hole, Ray Turner was nearest the pin on the Alan Bill Electrical 7th, Russell Schmitt took the Worker’s Club 8th and Glenn Baxter and Eddie Sivell won the drive and pitch on the Lee and Thomas 13th.

Sunday March 8 is a Stableford with mystery holes. Thanks to all of our great volunteers for their help around the clubhouse and course. We wish Maxine McLaughlin all the best as she puts her feet up for a while.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Competition

Luke Wray put it all together to score 29 points last week to win the $50 voucher from the Goulburn Soldiers Club for the 12 hole event. Terry Berg was unlucky to finish second on 27 with Eddie Hawkins on 25. On 24 were Tony Clewett and Craig Brown and Simon Jiang and Hayden Ward each had 23. Finishing off the rundown on22 were Ian Baxter, Mick Gordon and Steve Rigby.

The 3 stick event last week was won by Georgina Cook with 35 points for division 1 and Barbara Miller with 39 points for division 2. The ball rundown included Gail Kennerley 33 and Lil Ryan on 32. Maxine McLaughlin won the nearest the pin.
