Sunday Competition
The March B grade monthly medal and stroke event winner was Tony Mclaughlin with a nett 66. Ray Turner took second place and the A grade medal for his 67and Luke Wary won C grade with 69. Making up the rundown were Tom James 68, Russell Schmitt 70, Roly Wong 70, Dean Horne 71 and Tom Heath 71 on countback. The jackpot hole was won by Greg Granger on the Mitre 10 hole with nearest the pins going to Tom James BC Training 6th , Ian Peterson Alan Bill Electrical 7th, Ray Turner Workers Club 8th and Chris Ryan taking the two Goulburn Soldiers Club holes 9 and 14. The drive and pitch holes went to Tom James Lee and Thomas 13th and Ray Turner Carpet Court 16th .
Sunday April 5 is a Stableford and Mystery holes round for Easter.
Nomination are now being taken at the clubhouse for both:
The Kevin and Noeline Peterson Matchplay Event . Names are due by March 31.
And the RSL v Tully 4BBB Stableford on April 12 at Goulburn Golf Club. Names are due by Wed April 8.
Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Competition
Wayne Blay scored 28 points to take the prize for last week’s Goulburn Soldiers Club midweek competition. Stephen Rigby was next best on 26. Ian Baxter, Kim Fahey, Maxine McLaughlin and Angela Deacon each had 24 and Craig Brown 23, and Terry Berg 22 made up the rundown.
There will be changes to the handicapping for the midweek competition soon so keep an eye out for the notices in coming weeks. This will mean a special handicap for the competition as will be shown on your phone.
Ladies
The first medal round of the year saw Gail Kennerley win the division 1 with nett 65 and Beryl Gray took division 2 on 74 as well as the putting prize with 32. Div 1 putting went to Georgina Cook with 28. The rundown included Barbara Miller 74, Georgina Cook 75 and Maxine Mclaughlin 76.
