Ladies

Last week the Tully Ladies held their Foursome Championships with Joy Leary and Sharon Scott teaming up for the top spot over 36 holes with gross 193. The overall nett winners were Beryl Howe and June Spillane on 152. First round nett winners were Beryl Howe and June Spillane with 74 and round 2 nett were Sharon Scott and Joy Leary on 70.5. Ball rundowns also included G Cook / B Gray 78 and J Moran/ R Rankmore 74, R Webb/ J Slater 74.5.

Sunday Competition

Gary Spence and Jeremy Harrison held their form from recent rounds to team up for a 98 point total in the four ball multiplier on Sunday leaving the field in their wake with next best Don Grimston and Ken Wray on 85 and third placed Simon Jiang and Graham Tasker on 78. Alan Bill was nearest the pin on the Capital Country Plumbing 7th and there was no winner for the drive and pitch on the Carpet Court 16th.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Comp

Mick Gordon dominated the 12 holes last week returning 29 points in a high scoring field. Stephen Rigby and Malcolm Young both had 28 followed by Don Grimston and Scott Sherer on 27. Alan McDonald picked up the final ball on countback for his 26.

Notices: Sunday Nov 10 Stableford. This Saturday is the final Par 3 event of 2019 with tee off from 7.30am to 12pm. Cost is $7/ player with all golfers and non golfers welcome. Coming up on Nov 17 is the annual Goulburn and District Prostate Cancer Support Group Charity Day with proceeds this year also going to St Joseph’s and Goulburn West Primary Schools. Gold Medal play-off round for 2019 is on Nov 24 with the qualifier list in the clubhouse window. Thank you to Mr K Croker for his work on the new access ramp for the clubhouse. With help from Veolia Mulwaree Trust a new path will soon be showcasing our great volunteer course.
