Sunday Competition

Andrew Oliver led the way with a countback win for his 64 nett on Sunday in the stroke event. Tom James was unlucky after also scoring 64 but after recently welcoming his daughter into the world can probably cope with second place (congrats to the new mum and dad). Trent Cooper, Rob Kelly and Adam Boxsell each finished on 67, followed by Mac Fife, Chris Ryan, Alan McDonald, Wayne Minney and Ian Peterson, all on 68. The nearest the pin on the Goulburn Soldiers club 14th was won by Ron Nunn and Adam Boxsell took the Gordon Hotel drive and pitch on the 11th. A great effort of 33 Starters for this week.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Comp
Ian Ginn won on countback over the 12 holes for the Goulburn Soldiers Club voucher when he finished with 27 points last week over a field of 44. Unlucky were Trent Cooper and Tony Clewett both on 27, Gordon Rankmore 26, Greg Maskill, Angus Regterschot, Eddie Hawkins and John Blair all on 25. R Stacey, R Schmitt, J Slater all made 24, M Wilson, W James and R Nunn all had 23 and R Rankmore finished the rundown on countback with 22.

Ladies
Joy Leary took out division 1 in the stroke event with nett 69 and the putting with 29. Division 2 winner was Ruth Beveridge 74 on countback and she also took the putting with 33. The rundown included Heather Buchanan 73 and Ratna Rankmore 74.

Slater Drafting Par 3
A big field of 33 starters challenged for this month’s Slater Drafting Par 3 with Wayne Minney proving too good on the day with a nett 20 for the round. Josh Cooper was next best on 23 followed by J Kao 24, M Fife 25, A Swanson 25, R Stacey 25 and R Nunn 25. The next Par 3 is on Sat August 8.
