Gordon Hotel Sunday Competition

This week Tully Park hosted the monthly medal proudly sponsored by the Gordon Hotel in glorious weather conditions with some pretty good scores to show for it. Josh Cooper went home with the coveted Gordon Hotel voucher and the monthly medal with a nett 63 in C grade followed by Trent Cooper and Ian Spence with 65 to take out A and B grade respectively. The ball run down also saw Gary Spence 66, John Smith 67, Eddie Hawkins and Tom Heath with 69 each collect a ball. Nearest to the pins went to Ian Spence on the Goulburn Produce 5th and Russell Lieschke on the Tully Park Tavern sponsored 7th hole.
Next Sunday will be the Tully Park Open stroke competition, so come down and play a round before all the action of the NRL grand final.   

Goulburn Soldiers Club Mid Week Competition

The mid week comp had another good turn out this week with Brian Larkin taking home the marbles and the voucher from our great sponsor the Goulburn Soldiers Club with and impressive 28 points. The ball run down was Brian Norris and Wallace Thorn with 26, Bryson Plumb 25 and John Peterson 24. Come down during the week for the 12 hole comp at $7 for members its a bargain. 

TPEBGC Golf Challenge

This Saturday will be the 2 Person Ambrose Tully Park Golf Challenge call the club on 4822 2828 to book a place. Plenty of prizes up for grabs for golfers of all abilities. 

Major Championships

Just a reminder that championships are coming up with the four rounds being played over the 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th of October so free up those weekends to come down and show everybody what you’ve got around the Tully Park Golf Course.

Gordon Hotel Sunday Competition

This weeks 4BBB Aggregate competition was played in some of the finest conditions mother nature can dish up with a great turn out as a result. The competition was no match for the pair of Mick Gray and Eddie Hawkins who drove, chipped and putted  their way to an impressive 79 points earning the coveted prize of a Gordon Hotel Voucher. Two shots behind were the group of Shane Jervis and Josh Cooper with a respectable 77, Kerry Bensley and Raymond Turner 72, Tim James and Marty Huter 70 and Don Grimston with Ken Wray 70 rounding out the ball rundown. Nearest to the pins went to Russell Schmitt on the Goulburn Produce sponsored 5th hole and Gary Spence on the Goulburn Workers Club 8th. Congratulations to all involved. 
Next Sunday will be the Monthly Medal.

Goulburn Soldiers Club Mid Week Competition 

The mid week comp had a good roll up this week with Marty Hunter winning on a count back with 25 points over Ratna Rankmore. Russell Schmitt 24, Kevin Peterson 23 and Shane Cooper 23 rounded out the ball run down. This weeks special ball went to Alma Harvison with 7 points.

Gordon Hotel Sunday Competition

Tully Park Early Birds Golf Club held a par competition this week in glorious weather conditions, with the greens only just being cored it produced a tough challenge with the flat stick. The tough greens proved no problem for our fearless President Shane Cooper with a blistering +8 easily accounting for Josh Cooper +4, Tom Heath +3, Gary Spence +2, Don Grimston +2, John Smith +2 and Russell Schmitt with +1 rounding out this weeks ball rundown. The special ball went the way of Roy McNair with an impressive -10. Nearest to the pin on the Goulburn Produce sponsored 5th was Gary Spence and the drive and pitch on the Kevs Quality Meats 12th went the way of Raymond Turner. Well done men.
Next Sunday will be a 4BBB Aggregate sponsored by the Gordon Hotel so grab a mate* and come down for a hit only $10 for members.
*does not necessarily need to be a mate co-workers, family and complete strangers are welcome.

Goulburn Soldiers Club Midweek Competition

The Goulburn Soldiers Club sponsored Midweek Competition held at Tully Park Early Birds Golf Club last week was won by Colin Eggins with an impressive 26 stableford points John Smith 23 and John Peterson 20 collected a ball for there efforts. The special ball went to Bryson Plumb with 17 points.
Come down this week for the 12 hole competition a bargain at $7.

Goulburn Soldiers Club Midweek Competition

Shane Cooper has won the Goulburn Soldiers Club sponsored Midweek Competition held at Tully Park Early Birds Golf Club last week carding 25 stableford points over the 12 hole competition. John Peterson was the next best continuing his recent run of good form carding a respectable 24 stableford points. Young gun Trent Cooper compiled 23 points. The ever consistent Don Grimston on 22 points and after a long hiatus due to work commitments Tim James rounded out the weeks ball run down also finishing with 22 stableford points. Alma Harvison picked up the special ball with a total of 6 stableford points.

Gordon Hotel Sunday Competition

Tully Park Early Birds Golf Club held a stableford competition along with another round of the Kevin Allen memorial for the clubs most consistent golfer for 2014 last Sunday. Once again Phil Elliott has flown in to blow away the rest of the field with an outstanding round of golf. Phil carded an impressive 43 points over the challenging 18 hole layout to claim the Gordon Hotel Bistro voucher compliments of the events major sponsor the Gordon Hotel. Joshua Cooper (41) Gary Spence (37) Lachlan Bill (37) Tony Clewett (37) Eddie Sivell (36) and Tom Heath 36 points rounded out the day’s ball run down. Nearest the pin on the Goulburn produce sponsored 5th hole was won by Tony Clewett. Nearest the pin on the Goulburn Soldiers Club sponsored 14th was claimed by young Lachlan Bill. The progressive was won by Tom Heath on 48 stableford points. A big thanks goes out to all of the clubs volunteers that have given up there time to make our club the special club that it is thankyou. Next Sunday’s event is a Par event the best of golfing to you all.
