Sunday Competition

Holly Beard and Brandon Courts scored 49 points for a win in the 4 ball best ball stableford event and Brandon’s 40 points secured him the individual prize for the day and he won the drive and pitch on Ginny’s Building and Carpentry hole. Alan Bill took the jackpot hole win and finished in second place with Russ Schmitt on 44. On 43 were teams of Josh Cooper and Bill Reid and Ian Peterson and Tony Clewett. The rundown finished with Ryan Saville and Ryan Wilson, and Tom James and Sam McDonald all on 42. Josh Watling won the Goulburn Soldiers club nearest the pin.  The Captains vs Presidents event was won by the Captain’s team with 370 over the 341 by the President’s team.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole

The countback win went to John Peterson last week after he and Ron Nunn both finished on 27 points for the 12 holes. Gordon Bill was next best on 24 points followed by Darrell Spence, Kerry Bensley, Grant Mooney and Garry Handley all on 22. Lindsay Sergeant had 20 and Tony McLaughlin took the final ball for 20 after a 6 card countback.

BioCleanse 2 person Ambrose

With the final week of the Biocleanse 2 person ambrose underway it was the team of Josh Cooper and Mick Regterschot who took honours last week with a nett par round of 47.

Notices:  Sunday Dec 12 Gala day 4 person ambrose- members only . Note the cost for players who have had 10 or more comp games through the year is $15 and those with less is $30. Be at Tully by 7.30 for an 8am shotgun start. Thanks to Luke and the Tully volunteers for the fantastic job of getting the course prepared for the recent events though all the rain and flooding.

Players wishing to play in the 2022 B grade handicap pennants team are asked to put their name on the sheet in the clubhouse in the next 2 weeks so shirts the team can be finalised.

Note that currently preferred lies will be on the correct fairways only (not the rough or other fairways). Preferred lies in the bunker will continue until Dec 30. Members are reminded that the Bi-Rite Xmas Guessing competition results will be drawn on Dec 12 so get your tickets sold and returned before then to be in with a chance. Thanks to Luke and the volunteers for their work around the course and clubhouse, there has been many words of appreciation from the members and guests.
