Ladies played a 18 hole stableford and putting event , Winner division 1 was Georgina Cok with 73 nett and winner division 2 was Beryl Gray with 77 nett , in the putting Heather Buchanan won division 1 with 31 putts and division 2 winner was Beryl Gray with 31 putts , Maxine McLaughlin won the ball rundown

The Goulburn Soldiers Club Midweek comp was won by Ian Peterson with 27 pts , Ken Wray had 23 pts as did Alan McDonald , Mick Gray and Kim Fahey both had 21 pts , Lindsay Sergeant and Maxine McLaughlin both had 20 pts .

Sunday competition was a 4BBB Multiplier which saw Ian Peterson &  Ken Wray win with 72 pts , 2nd were Ian Baxter & Max Sakiasi with 68 pts , Tom James & Sam McDonald came in 3rd with 58 pts . Glenn Baxter won the jackpot Hole , Trent Cooper won the NTP 7th , Russell Lieschke won the NTP 8th , Tony McLaughlin won the NTP 17th , Mitch Cook won the D&P 11th and Russell Lieschke won the D&P 12th.

Ladies played their 18 hole stableford and mystery holes with Maxine McLaughlin waltzing away with a win in division 1 on 30 pts and Lil Ryan coming home with 36 pts to take out division 2 . Lil Ryan also took the 9th ,10th & 11th mystery holes with 10 pts and the ball rundown went to Heather Buchanan with 29 pts and Beryl Gray with 28 pts

Goulburn Soldiers Club Midweek comp was won by Ken Wray with 23 pts , Mal Maher & Ian Peterson both had 22 pts , Kerry Bensley , Martell Maher , Mick Gray & Alan McDonald all had 21 pts .

The Sunday comp was the Monthly Medal and Darrell Spence won outright with 72 nett and also won the C grade title , Craig Langby was second with 73 nett and also won B grade , Andrew Balabka took out A grade with 77 nett . The ball rundown went to Ian Peterson with 76 nett , Josh Cohen with 77 nett & Mick Gray with 77 nett . Mick Gray also won the jackpot hole , Wade Pomery took the NTP 6th , Tony Mclaughlin snuck in the D&P 13th and Andrew Balabka took away the D&P 18th .

The AGM has been set for the 25th August 2024 , nominations for the committee are now due as are any questions/comments to be put onto the agenda items list by the 23rd August 2024.

Sunday was a Par Event with Ian Peterson coming out on top with -3 , followed by Trent Cooper , Matthew Bird , Mick Gray all with -4 , Lindsay Sergeant came in with -5 . Justin Cross won the jackpot hole , Mark Alamango won the NTP 14th , Tony McLaughlin got the D&P 13th , Trent Cooper won the D&P 16th . Next week is the Monthly Medal and a reminder that memberships are due for renewal .

Ladies played 18 holes stroke and putting in awful conditions , the winner was Lil Ryan with 77 nett and Georgina Cook won the putting with 27 putts , the ball rundown went to Maxine McLaughlin  with 80 nett and Beryl Gray with 86 nett .

Sunday was an Irish Stableford Multiplier Event which had Kerry Bensley , Craig Langby , Mick Gray & Darrell Spence win easily with a combined 120 pts , the team comprising Tony Clewett , Don Grimston , Ken Wray and Ian Peterson shot 85 pts and Tony Mclaughlin , Trent Cooper , Josh Cooper and Ray Turner shot 84 pts . Matthew Bird made the NTP 7th , Josh Coper got the D&P 13thand Mick Gray made the D&P 16th . No one won the Jackpot hole .

Ladies played their 18 hole stableford & mystery holes , the division 1 winner was Heather Buchanan with 35 pts , Beryl Gray won division 2 with 22 pts , Maxine Mclaughlin won the mystery holes on a 5 card countback . The ball rundown then went to Ratna Rankmore witgh 22 pts , Beryl Howe with 21 pts , Georgina Cook & Ruth Beveridge both finished up with 20 pts .

The Goulburn Soldiers Club midweek competition was this week won by Ken Wray with a score of 26 pts , Bryan Norris was second with 24 pts followed by Ian Baxter with 23 pts , Phil Heath 22 pts , Russell Lieschke 22 pts and Jeff Edwards with 21 pts .

The Sunday Competition was a stableford and mystery holes , the winner was Russell Lieschke with 33 pts , Ian Baxter a close second with 32 pts , followed by Lindsay  Sergeant & Matthew Bird both with 31 pts , Ian Peterson with 29 pts , Ken Wray , Brynn Matthews & Alan Bill all with 28 pts . Ken Wray won the mystery holes which were the 1st ,7th & the 18th  holes. Alan Bill won the Jackpot Hole , Eddie Sivell collected the NTP 7th and Russell Lieschke took the D&P 13th .

The Goulburn Soldiers Club Midweek Competition was won by Kerry Bensley with 25 pts on a C/B from Tony McLaughlin . Mick Gray was next then Hayden Ward both with 22 pts , Kevin Breen , Michael McDonald and Mark Berrisford all had 20 pts .

The Sunday Comp was the Monthly Medal , conditions were bleak yet Andrew Balabka managed 66 nett to win overall and the A Grade Medal , Adam Rowe won B Grade with 70 nett and first timer Matt Bird won C Grade with 73 nett , Jesse Cao came in second overall with 69 nett on a C/B from Mac Fife , fourth was Adam Rowe 70 nett , Mitch Cook 71 nett and Wade Pomery 72 nett . Mitch  Cook got NTP 5th , Andrew Balabka got NTP 7th , John Gray got NTP 14th , Chris Lewis won the D&P 13th and Brynn Matthews won the D&P 16th . Jesse Cao shot an eagle on the par 5 10th hole .

The Sunday Competition was a Canadian Foursomes which had Mitch Cook & Jesse Cao triumph with 67 nett , Trent Cooper & Mac Fife came in second with 71 3/8 nett , Gary Spence & Chris Elliott next with 71 3/4  nett , Joe Spurek & Ray Turner totalled 72 nett and Ken Wray & Don Grimston  collected 72 7/8 nett . Mac Fife took the Jackpot Hole , Luke Dixon won the NTP 7th , Lindsay Sergeant claimed the NTP 14th , Trent Cooper & Mac Fife won the D&P 13th and finally Joe Spurek & Ray Turner took the D&P 16th . Next week is the Monthly Medal .

The ball rundown went to Heather Buchanan with 76 nett , Jenni Price 81 nett and Maxine Mclaughlin 85 nett .

There was no Goulburn Soldiers Club midweek comp due to the course being closed because of the flooding and the weather .

The Sunday Competition was a Four Ball Aggregate which Mac Fife & Trent Cooper won easily with 68 combined pts , Luke Dixon and Chris Lewis were second with 64 pts , then Tony McLaughlin and Simon Jiang with 60 pts & finally Adam Rowe and Ian Baxter with 56 pts . Trent Cooper almost won everything else taking the Jackpot Hole , Inland D&P 9th and the Inland D&P 17th , Tony McLaughlin took the NTP Inland 14th . Wade Pomery defeated Mark Ryan in their round of the Matchplay winning 4 & 3 .

Due to the inclement weather in the last week and flooding of the course only the Goulburn Soldiers Club Midweek  was played with only 24 participants managing to play , the winner was Phil Heath with 23 pts , Alan McDonald finished 2nd along with Wayne Blay and Ian Baxter on a 3 card C/Back with 21 pts , Tony Mclaughlin managed 20 pts , Craig Brown had 19 pts , Mick Gordon and Dean Horne both had 18 pts . The course remains closed until after Tuesday 11th June 2024 when a reassessment will be made .

Ladies golf results for Monday 3rd  June 2024 , ladies played an 18 hole Stroke & Putting Event which had the winner as Jenni Price with 82 nett for division 1 and the division 2 winner with 85 nett was Lil Ryan , the putting award in division 1 went to Ratna Rankmore with 32 putts on C/B and division 2 winner with 35 putts on C/B was Ruth Beveridge . The ball rundown went to Heather Buchanan with 84 nett , Ratna Rankmore with 85 nett and Maxine McLaughlin with 86 nett .

The Goulburn Soldiers Club Midweek Comp was won by Kevin Breen with 25 pts , Russell Lieschke came second with 24 pts , Phil Heath , Wayne Blay and Don Grimston all had 23 pts ,m Alan McDonald , Mark Berrisford , Kim Fahey , John R Smith , Pat Bruckshaw and Lindsay Sergeant finished the ball run down with 22 pts each.

Sunday was a social 2 person ambrose day with ideal winter conditions , Ian Baxter and Wade Pomery won the day with 61 3/4 nett , second were Trent Cooper and Grant Mooney with 61/4 nett , Andrew Balabka and Justin Cross came third on a C/B , Roly Wong and Ray Turner were  fourth with 62 3/4 nett , Adam Rowe and Luke Dixon finished in fifth in the rundown with 64 nett . Wade Pomery won the jackpot hole , no-one won the NTP 7th , Sam McDonald won the NTP 14th , Justin Cross took the D&P 13th and Trent Cooper took the D&P 16th . Sam McDonald and Greg Reid took out the social team prize with 67 nett .
