Gordon Hotel Sunday Competition

This week the Gordon Hotel Competition was the Monthly Medal stroke and was taken out by Tony Clewett with a nett 66 to also win C Grade. Tom Heath 69 and Ken Wray 68 won A and B Grade respectively. The ball rundown also saw Trent Cooper 69 and Ross Stacey 69 grab a ball. Nearest to the pin on the Goulburn Produce 5th went to Tony Clewett the Tully Park 7th went to Ross Stacey and on the Goulburn Workers Club 8th Ken Wray stuck it the closest. Next week the Gordon Hotel Sunday comp is a stableford.

Goulburn Soldiers Club Mid Week Competition

This week the Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole stabelford competition was taken out by Don Grimston with 27 points. Tony Clewett grabbed a ball with 25. Don Pennay also picked up a ball for his efforts with 14 points. Come down during the week for a hit the comp only costs $7.

Gordon Hotel Sunday Competition

This week the Gordon Hotel Competition was a Canadian Foresomes with the father son duo of Anthony and Josh Cooper collecting the day with a nett 57 1/2. Second place went to Shane and Trent Cooper with nett 59 while Russ Schmitt and Lachlan Bill scored 63 and Brian Mills and Tom Heath with 63 1/2 rounded out the ball rundown. The nearest to the pins went to Craig Langby on the Goulburn Produce 5th to Mick Gray on the Tully Park 7th and Trent Cooper on the Goulburn Workers Club 8th. Next Sunday is the Monthly Medal stroke Competition.

Goulburn Soldiers Club Mid Week Competition

This week the Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole stabelford competition was taken out by Kerry Bensley with 26 points. Trent Cooper 25, Kevin Peterson 24 and John Peterson 23 all collected a ball for their efforts. Helen Carne also picked up a ball for her efforts with 8 points. Tully Park Pennants

The boys went down to Gunghalin Lakes to take on RMC in the semi finals on Sunday with the winner going on to play the final on the 29th of March at Gold Creek Golf Club. The team got the win in a tightly contested match and will now take on Goulburn Golf Club in the final. Well done lads and best of luck.

Gordon Hotel Sunday Competition

This week the Gordon Hotel Competition was a 2 person ambrose taken out by the young gun duo of Trent Cooper and John Gegg with nett 59. Glen Wharton and Shane O’Donnall came a close second with 59 and a half with Grahame Cave/ Darrell Spence and Tim James/ Marty Hunter shooting 59 3/4 along with Marty Weise and Mick Harris 60 rounding out the ball run down. The social competition saw Dave Gray and Greg Slater take the goods with 64. The nearest to the pins were on the Tully Park 7th Peter Courts and on the Goulburn Workers Club 8th Trent Cooper. Next Sunday is Canadian Foresomes Competition.

Kevin Peterson 27 and Matthew Hyland 25 all collected a ball for their efforts. Helen Carne also picked up a ball for her efforts with 15 points. This week the Gordon Hotel Competition was a Stableford multiplier and was taken out by the rampaging duo of Marty Weise and Mick Gray with the pair putting in an impressive performance clocking up 86 points. The formidable Mills/Heath combination scored 84 points along with the Gray/McNair team to collect a ball in the run down. Nearest to the pin on the Goulburn Produce 5th went to Trent Cooper and on the Gouburn Soldiers Club 14th Ross Stacey. Next week the Gordon Hotel Sunday comp is a 2 person ambrose with social players welcome.

John Gegg 27, Wally Thorn 25 and Bryson Plumb 25 rounded out the ball run down. Alma Harvison collected a ball with 4 points. Come down during the week for a hit the comp only costs $7.

Tully Park Early Birds Pennants 

The team hosted Murrumbidgee this week for the 6th and final round of their pennants competition. With a 3 point lead over the rest of their group and only 2 points on the line for a win a finals berth was already secured. The boys tee’d it up looking to build on their form for the upcoming playoff matches and won in convincing style 6-0, giving a confidence boost for the semi finals to be played in two weeks time.

The team hosted Queanbeyan this week for round 5 of their pennants competition. They played some great golf and came away with a 5-1 win . The team are back at home this week for the final round against Murrumbidgee looking to continue their good form and book a finals position. Best of Luck.
