Sunday Competition
Adam Boxsell and Tracker Tahana teamed up for an impressive 57 nett to win the men’s division of the Charity Day at Tully on Sunday which raised over $2000 to be shared between the Goulburn and District Prostate Cancer Support Group, Goulburn West Primary School and St Joseph’s Primary School. Both of the school received over $800 from the event. Other winners on the day were the team of Royce Dockett and Rheannah Webb who won the mixed division with nett 68. Big thanks to Tradelink for the donation of a $200 voucher for the raffle which was won by Paul Clarke (who generously donated it toward the Tully Park course and bathroom renovations).
Second placegetters for the day were Jason Cook and Georgina Cook (68.5) and Trent Cooper and Jon Gegg (58.25) for the mixed and men’s divisions. The rundown for the day went to 61.75 for the men.
Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Comp
Scott Sherer climbed into the winners circle with 28 points last week to head up a strong field of 26 point players including Joy Leary, Lindsay Sergeant and Mick Gordon. Tony Clewett and Greg Maskill both had 25 in a rundown that went to 24 on countback.
Ladies
Heather Buchanan won division 1 in the stroke event with nett 72, June Spillane took out division 2. Ratna Rankmore and Beryl Howe took out the putting for divisions 1 and 2 with 27 and 25 respectively. Ratna Rankmore and Joy Leary were in the rundown with 75 each.
Notices: Sunday Nov 24 Stroke Monthly Medal and Gold Medal play-off round for 2019 is on Nov 24 with the qualifier list in the clubhouse window. Gala day is Dec 8 with a members only 4 person ambrose event. Check clubhouse wall for details. Thanks to the volunteers who worked so hard to prepare the course and clubhouse for the charity day.
