Sunday Competition
Trent Cooper was back to his best with a nett 68 on Sunday in the stroke event. Ryan Saville came in with 70 as did Jeremy Harrison along with the nearest the pin on the 5th hole sponsored by Mitre 10. Russell Lieschke had 71, Simon Jiang 72 and Josh Cooper 74 and the Millenium Windows drive and pitch on the 1st.
Ladies
Joy Leary was the best of the Tully ladies last Monday with 27 points in the stableford event. Beryl Gray followed her closely with 26 and Ratna Rankmore came in with 25.
Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Comp
Elsey Slater has shown her formfrom pennants has crossed over to the 12 hole event coming in with 23 points to beat a field struggling with the excessive grass on the course. Greg Maskill, Chris Ryan and Alan McDonald were all right behind her with 22. Ron Nunn made 21, Gordon Rankmore, Ned Slater, Eddie Hawkins and Nicole Minney all made 20 in a rundown that went to 19.
Slater Drafting Par 3
The Slater Drafting Par 3 event was won by Beryl Gray with net 30. Joy Leary was next best with 31 in a wet round. Next month the Par 3 has been moved forward to April 4 due to easter the following weekend.
Juniors
The Tully Park – Belconnen junior pennants team scored a win over the Gold Creek team 4 to 2 on Sunday with Ned Slater winning his match 5 up and 4 to play. Rheannah Webb was unlucky to go down 2 with 1 to play. The next game for the Tully Park players is March 29 at Federal against Gungahlin Lakes.
