Sunday Competition
Darrell Spence is the 2017 Gold Medal Playoff champion and November Stroke competition and Monthly Medal winner for the C Grade after his exceptional round of 63 nett. A grade medal winner was Gary Spence on 68 and the B Grade went to Eddie Sivell after a countback on 68. Chris Webb 66, Tony Clewett 68 and Chris Ryan 68 were in the rundown. Tony Clewett also won the nearest the pin on the Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th hole while Ian Peterson took the Drive and Pitch on the Carpet Court 16th.
Notices: Sunday Dec 3 Captain vs President 4 BBB Stabelford. Gala Day is Dec 10 with a shotgun start at 8am followed by lunch and presentation of the trophies for the year. Cost $15/person ($25 for those having played less than 10 comp rounds through the year). Thank you to the volunteers for their work on the course and in the clubhouse. All tickets in the Carpet Court Xmas Guessing Competition are due in by Gala Day.
Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Comp
John Peterson took first place in the Goulburn Soldiers 12 hole competition last week with 25 points. Margaret Gibson was close behind on 24 and Tony Clewett 23, Russell Lieschke 23, Don Grimston 22 and Eddie Hawkins 21 made up the rundown. With daylight around until 8pm this competition is great for an after work.
Ladies
The stroke event on Monday saw Georgina Cook the division 1 winner with nett 67 while Beryl Gray won division 2 with 78. Both ladies also won their divisions for the putting competitions.
Juniors
The Tully Park junior golfers enjoyed the Adult /Junior foursomes on Saturday with Ned and Janelle Slater coming in winners on nett 47. Nitika chandola and Chris Webb were next best on 61. Ned was also named the winner of the Max McColl Encouragement Award while Lachlan Bill was awarded the Barry Pengelly Junior of the Year in his final year as a junior. Congratulations to Tully Junior Rheannah Webb on her placing 6th in the Brett Ogle Junior Masters over the weekend.
