Sunday Competition
In tough post-flood conditions it was Russ Schmitt who prevailed with 36 points on Sunday in the stableford event. Tony McLaughlin came second with his 35 points followed by Ian Peterson and Lindsay Sergeant both on 33. Concluding the rundown were Bill Reid, Trent Cooper, John Smith and Chris Ryan all on 32 . Ian Peterson took the Mystery Holes for December with 8 points (after countback) on the BioCleanse, Argyle Cleaning and Chris Ryan Plumbing holes. Kerry Bensely won the nearest the pin on the Jewell Builder hols and Trent Cooper took the Carpet Court drive and pitch. John Smith was the Jackpot Hole winner.
Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole
Max Sakiasi stole the show last week with 28 points on the final day. Tony McLaughlin was unlucky to be pipped at the post for his 27 with the next best on 24 for Brian Larkin. On 23 were Wayne James, Ian Baxter and Phil Heath then Greg Maskill 22 and in a countback on 21 Mick Gordon and Don Pennay. This great event will run all through the Xmas period so make the most of our facilities at a time that suits you and participate in a round (Fri – Thurs).
