Sunday Competition
Hoping the best is yet to come as the pennants approaches, the team of Josh Cooper and Mac Fife sparked to score 50 points for the 4 ball best ball stableford on Sunday at Tully. Mac Finished as the individual winner for the day with 46. Making up the rundown were the teams of Jon Gegg/Mick Regterschot 49, Don Grimston/ Ken Wray 45, Max Sakiasi/ Tony Clewett 44, Tom Heath/ Chris Ryan 44, Wayne Minney/ Nicole Minney 43 and Trent Cooper/ Angus Regterschot 43 (on a 3 card countback) . Dean Gray shot an eagle on the Bio-Cleanse 10th and won the drive and pitch on Aaron’s Trees 12th, and Chris Toole won the Capital Country Plumbing nearest the pin on the 7th.
Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Comp
Brett Buckley has started his competition golf pastime in good form returning a 31 point round for the weekly 12 Goulburn Soldiers Club hole event last week. Next best tied on 28 were Scott Sherer and Don Pennay. Di Schmitt, Gordon Rankmore and Graham Mansfield each finished with 25 and Stephen Rigby concluded the rundown on 24.
