Social Day Sunday May 23 will see a 2 Person Ambrose with book in from 7.30 am to 8am on the day and shotgun tee off at 8.15. A lunch will be provided in the cost of $15/ player with over $1000 in prizes to be won on the day. Social G.A handicap players are welcome to nominate a team or turn up on the day.  Sponsors for the day include D One Accounting, Chris Ryan Plumbing, Tradelink and Heritage Country Meats

Sunday Competition

Sam McDonald was back in form for 40 points on Sunday to win the Stableford event. Tom James 37 and Trent Cooper 36 were next best for the day, followed by Russell Lieschke 34, Jeremy Harrison 33 and Peter Gurr 33 after a 4 card countback. Mark Berrisford won the nearest the pin for the Workers Club 8th and Phil Elliott strung some good shots together on Ginny’s Building and Carpentry 1st for the drive and pitch. Peter Gurr also won the Mystery Holes for may on the ChemDry 10th, The Agency 15th and Argyle cleaning 17th with 9 points.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole

John Smith took home the $25 voucher from Goulburn Soldiers Club with 27 points last week in the 12 hole competition. Josh Cooper returned to form with 25 with Elsey Slater and Mac Fife both on 24. On 23 were Gordon Rankmore, Trent Cooper, Mark Berrisford, Wayne Minney and Jesse Cao in a rundown that went to 21.

Minor Championships

Two rounds of the minor championships have been played with he third round underway until Thursday. Last weeks winners were Josh Cooper (Div 1) on 42.6, Wayne Minney (Div 2) 45 and Elsey Slater won the Ladies on 45.6. Current leaders are A Grade gross Trent Cooper 94 and nett Mark Berrisford 89.3, B Grade gross Josh Cooper 109 and nett a tie between josh Tom James and Peter Webster 89.6, C Grade gross and nett Bill Reid 118 and 85.3. Ladies Gross sees Di Schmitt and Nicole Minney tied on 128 and nett is Nicole on 89.3

Ladies

The Ladies stableford event div 1 was won by Georgina Cook with 32 points and Elsey Slater won Div 2 on 36. The rundown saw Di Schmitt 24, Joy Leary 24, Heather Buchanan 23 and Beryl Howe 22. Heather also won the Priceline nearest the pin on the 2nd.

Kevin Peterson matchplay

The Kevin Peterson Matchplay event is about to enter round 3 from this Friday. The updated draw is in the window and you have until June 10 to organise a time with your opponent and play the round. Please note the course changes over coming weekdays for the tree removal .
