Sunday Competition
Fifteen teams took part in the 4 person ambrose on Sunday with Andrew Balabka, Brandon Courts, Mitch Cook and Hamish McCormack proving victorious in a tight field with 53.25. Tom Heath, Chris Ryan, Jeremy Ryan and Peter Gurr banded together well for their 53.5 and the team of Brett Buckley, Josh Buckley, Brad Buckley and Chris Deegan returned 54. Teams of James Will, Josh Ryrie, Dylan Maddock and Shane Wilson had 54.6 and Ryan Wilson, Ryan Saville, Tom James and James Wilson had 55.5. Fourteen of the teams finished under 60. Chris Deegan won the first nearest the pin on Jeremy Ryan Plumbing hole and Ian Peterson took the second on the Worker’s Club hole
Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole
Zacc Broderick came in a winner for his first competition last week finishing with 29 points. Mitch Cook and other newcomer Adam Gordon both had 27. Ian Baxter scored 26 just ahead of Brett Buckley and Eddie Anning on 25 each. Mark Berrisford and Trent Cooper both made 24 followed by John Smith and Ron Nunn 22 and then Russell Lieschke, Maxine McLaughlin and Max Sakiasi on 21 after a countback.
Slater Drafting par 3
Flynn Wilson had a countback win over Alan Gray after both finished on nett 24 in the February Slater drafting Par 3 at Tully on Saturday. In the rundown for the day were
Ladies
Grace Prigg won the Ladies stableford last Monday with 34 points taking the nearest the pin on the Mitre 10 hole on her way. Beryl Howe was next best on 28 and Maxine McLaughlin had 27. Ladies play Mondays and meet at 8.30am.
Pennants
In her first round of pennants last week Elsey Slater was unlucky to go down 4 and 3 in her spot for the combined Tully / Yowani team against Yass.
The Tully Men’s B grade handicap team played Federal at Crookwell on Sunday and finished with a draw. Mac Fife won big with 7 up and 6 to play while Josh Cooper and Jeremy Harrison both won 3 & 2. Mick regterschot, Jon Gegg and Adam Boxsell were each unlucky to go down in close matches.
Notices: Sunday Feb 20 Stableford. For Feb 27 monthly Medal, due to pennants hosting, ALL players must tee off by 7.30am. Pennants commence at 11 and competition players need to be past 12th hole. Names are now being taken for the Mixed Foursomes on Saturday March 19 with tee off at 9am. Names are also being taken at the clubhouse for the 2022 K&N Peterson Matchplay event.
