Sunday Competition

Mick Gray and Kerry Bensley teamed up to win the Canadian Foursomes on Sunday with a nett 66 and 7/8. The rundown went to Chris Ryan and Ray Turner 67.5 and Tony McLaughlin and Luke Wray 71 and 7/8. Mick Gray also picked up the Mitre 10 jackpot hole, Ray Turner was nearest the pin on the Alan Bill Electrical 7th, Russell Schmitt took the Worker’s Club 8th and Glenn Baxter and Eddie Sivell won the drive and pitch on the Lee and Thomas 13th.

Sunday March 8 is a Stableford with mystery holes. Thanks to all of our great volunteers for their help around the clubhouse and course. We wish Maxine McLaughlin all the best as she puts her feet up for a while.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Competition

Luke Wray put it all together to score 29 points last week to win the $50 voucher from the Goulburn Soldiers Club for the 12 hole event. Terry Berg was unlucky to finish second on 27 with Eddie Hawkins on 25. On 24 were Tony Clewett and Craig Brown and Simon Jiang and Hayden Ward each had 23. Finishing off the rundown on22 were Ian Baxter, Mick Gordon and Steve Rigby.

There will be changes to the handicapping for the midweek competition soon so keep an eye out for the notices in coming weeks.

Ladies

The 3 stick event last week was won by Georgina Cook with 35 points for division 1 and Barbara Miller with 39 points for division 2. The ball rundown included Gail Kennerley 33 and Lil Ryan on 32. Maxine McLaughlin won the nearest the pin.
