Sunday Competition
Tully scored a win over the RSL club in the teams event after a two year Covid/ flood hiatus for the competition. Leading the way for Tully was Kerry Bensley with 41 and close behind were Bill Reid and Mick Gray each on 39. Tony McLaughlin had 38 and John Smith and Mac Fife each finished on 37. It was a great day for the Tully players with thanks to the RSL Social Golf committee for their organising of the day, the RSL players for the competition and the Goulburn Golf Club for the facilities.
Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole
Visiting player Andrew Galland took the honours last week over the 12 holes with 26 points. Greg Robertson played well for his 25 to headline the rundown which included Garry Handley , Maxine McLaughlin and Dejan Nedanoski all on 23, Toni Mitchell and Beryl Gray on 22, Stan Geale on 21 and after a countback Darryl Robertson and John Smith.
Ladies
Maxine McLaughlin backed up last week’s win with a 74 nett for division 1 ‘this week. was Beryl Gray took Div 2 with 77. The rundown included Joy Leary 75, Heather Buchanan on 76 and Georgina Cook on 77. Ratna Rankmore led the putting on 30 and Beryl Gray had 33.

Round 1 has commenced and is to be completed by April 21.
Slater Drafting Par 3
Russell Schmitt had a much needed return to form for the short game finishing with nett 30 for the Slater Drafting Par 3 on Saturday. Noel James was next best on 31. The May Par 3 event is on May 7.
Notices: Sunday April 17 Stableford. Foursome Championships are May 1 with R1 & 2 on the day. Please book carts in advance with the expectation of sharing the carts for the rounds.
