Sunday Competition 26th February 2023
This week was a monthly medal stroke event with 25 starters. The competition winner was Brynn Matthews on nett 62 who also won C grade. A grade winner was Tom Heath on Nett 67, B grade winner was Chris Elliott on nett 65. The ball run down was as follows: Chris Elliot and Greg Robertson on 65, Glenn Baxter and Ian Peterson on 66 and Tom Heath on 67 on a 2 card countback.
The Jackpot hole Argyle Cleaning 17th hole was not won and will jackpot next week . Nearest the Pin on the Workers Club 8th was not won this week. Drive and Pitch on the 12th hole was won by Mitch Cook.
Next week is a single stableford event.
Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole mid-week competition 23rd February.
A field of 42 players this week. Julie Hearne won with 30 points. Ball Run Down went as follows: Kevin Breen on 27 points, Russell Sheely on 26 points, Daryl Spence, Scott Sherer, Dean Hearne, Michael McDonald on 25 points, Ian Baxter, Max Sakiasi, Mick Gordon, Wayne Blay on 24 points and Eddie Hawkins, Phil Heath, Lindsey Sergeant and John Blair on 23 points.
Ladies Competition
Ladies competition for 20th February this week had 8 starters with Maxine McLaughlin the Division 1 winner om 27 2/3 nett. Division 2 winner was Beryl Gray with 35 1/3 nett. The putting competitions were both by the same players with Maxine having 27 putts and Beryl having 35 putts.
The ball rundown went to Heather Buchanan on 30 2/3, Jenni Price on 31 1/3 and Georgina Cook on 32 1/3.
Pennants
Last week we hosted the pennants. Thanks to everyone who assisted in this regard.
Next week we play Crookwell at Murumbidgee.
