Sunday Competition

Ben Elliott showed the way blitzing the field with a nett 59 on Sunday to take the C Grade medal and the stroke event win. Michael Wilson topped the A Grade with nett 70 and Ian Peterson took the B Grade with 71. In the rundown were Andrew McDonald 67, Chris Toole 70, Josh Lumsdon 70, Robert Kelly 70, Bill Reid 71 and Darrell Spence 71 after a 3 card countback. Bill Reid was nearest the Pin on Captial Country Plumbing 7th and Chris Toole took the drive and pitch on Aaron’s Trees 12th.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Comp

Greg Maskill was victorious last week over the 12 holes  with 25 points. Mark Berrisford scored 24 followed by Stephen Rigby and Peter Webster each on 23. Eddie Hawkins, Lindsay Sergeant , Trent Cooper and Josh Cooper all had 22 and Malcolm Young, Don Pennay and John Smith each had 21 for the countback in the rundown.

Ladies

Di Schmitt had a countback win in the stableford event for division 1 last week after she and Ratna Rankmore both finished on 31 points. Beryl Howe took division 2 with 26 points. The rundown included Rheannah Webb 28, Joy Leary 26 and Ruth Beveridge 26.

Pennants

The Fife’s Stock Feed sponsored men’s Tully Park pennants team notched up a win over Yass at Fairbairne on Sunday. Mick Regterschot up 6 & 4, Ray Turner up 2 &1 , Josh Cooper up 2 &1, and after a totally played for “cart path” bounce, Trent Cooper squared his match. This Sunday they play Yowani at Crookwell.

The Tully juniors Ned and Elsey Slater, as part of the Belconnen team, Ned won 3 & 1 Elsey went down 3 & 2 and the team won 4 to 2 against Royal Canberra. Next week they play Gungahlin Lakes at Royal.

Notices:  Sunday March 7 Par event.   The draw for the Kevin Peterson Matchplay event is up and round 1 will commence from Friday March 26 and finish April 22. Check the draw in the clubhouse window and organise your fist round over the next few weeks.

The next Slater Drafting Par 3 event is on March 13. Tully is looking great and playing well so thank our hard working volunteers when you see them.
