Tully Park Golf 27/4/2025

Sunday Competition

Glenn Baxter took the top spot and also the C Grade medal with a nett 67 after countback . Brynn Matthews also scored 67 for the B grade medal and Tom Heath had 69 for the A grade medal. The rundown included Ken Wray, Tom James and Alan McDonald all on 68, and Ian Baxter and Don Grimston both on 70.

The jackpot Mitre 10 hole and nearest the pin for the Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th went to Brynn Matthews, Russell Schmitt won the Alan Bill Electrical 7th, Roly Wong and Eddie Sivell took the drive and pitch for the Lee and Thomas 13th and Carpet Court 16th holes.

Next Sunday, May 4, is round 1 of the Foursome Championships. Cost $15/ player and playing off the Blue markers. Round 2 is May 18.

Huge thanks to the volunteers for their work around the course and clubhouse. The place is looking and playing great.

Goulburn Soldiers Club Competition

Dean Horne was a winner on countback over Sam McDonald after both finished on 23 over the 12 holes last week. The rundown included Phil Heath on 20 in a rain interrupted round.

Ladies Competition

Tully Ladies played a stableford event last week with A division going to Maxine Mclaughlin with 35 points along with the nearest the pin on the Mitre 10 5th hole. France Miners won B division on 35 and the rundown included Lil Ryan 30 and Ruth Beveridge 28 points. Berly Gary won the B division nearest the pin.

Sunday Competition

Craig Langby won the stableford Hate Em competition on Sunday with 47 points as well as the drive and pitch on the Lee and Thomas 13th. Don Grimston also scored well with 39 as did Simon Jiang on 38 points and the nearest the pin on the Alan Bill Electrical hole. Mick Gray had 38, Gary Spence 37, Mick Wilson 37, Max Sakiasi and Tom Heath each had 36 and Tony McLaughlin 35. Chris Ryan won the nearest the pin on the Soldiers Club 14th and Eddie Sivell took the drive and Pitch for the carpet Court hole. Lindsay Sergeant won the jackpot on the Mitre 10 hole.

Sunday April 27 is the Stroke Monthly Medal.

Goulburn Soldiers Club Competition

Jeff Edwards made it into the winner’s circle last week with 25 points in the Goulburn Soldiers Club competition. John Blair showed good form for his 24, Greg Maskill led the way on 23 followed by Tony McLaughlin and Eddie Hawkins. On 2 was Maxine McLaughlin and 21 on countback was Andrew Finlaison.

Ladies Competition

The ladies division 1stroke winner last week was Georgina Cook with nett 77 and she took the putting prize with 35 putts. Division 2 winner was Frances Miners with nett 72 while Ruth Beveridge took the putting with 33. Beryl Gray 74, Lil Ryan 78and Ratna Rankmore made up the rundown .

Sunday Competition

Sunday saw 46 starters for the annual Tully v RSL golf tournament. RSL won the day with 377 points to Tully’s 372. Team winners for RSL were Roger Holgate and Hamish Copland on 48 and Tully were Ian Peterson and Brynn Matthews on 43. Runner ups were Mitch Phelps and Tom Andreatta 44 (RSL) and Roly Wong and Ken Wong 42 (Tully). Rundown included the RSL  teams of Corey Manning/ Nic Cooley 43, David Prigg/ Stephen Apps 42, Chris Baxter/ Stephen Casey 41, Mick Gray/ Craig Langby 41, Dino Andreatta/ Bob Stewart 40 Roger Gann/ Rodney Gann 39. For Tully Andrew Balabka/ Eddie Sivell 42, Chris Ryan / Tom Heath 42, Bill Reid/ Mac Fife 42, Kerry Bensley/ Darrell Spence 41, Glenn Baxter/ Simon Jiang 41 and Tony McLaughlin/ Mick Wilson 40.

The jackpot Mitre 10 hole was won by Chris Baxter, Mick Gray and Mac Fife took the nearest the pins on the Alan Bill Electrical 7th and Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th and Mac Fife and Hamish Copland took the drive and pitch wins for the Lee and Thomas 13th and Carpet Court 16th.

Next Sunday will be a single stableford for easter Sunday

Stephen Rigby took honours for the winner’s circle with 24 points last week. Kim Fahey was next best on 23 followed by Don Grimston and Maxine McLaughlin both on 22. The rundown included Doug Stephens, Kerry Bensley, Ian Baxter, Eddie Hawkins and Craig Brown all with 20 points.

Ladies Competition

Georgina Cook was best for the Ladies Division 1in the stroke event with nett 73 and Maxine McLaughlin was in the rundown with nett 80 followed by Frances Miner on 83. The putting prize for the day went to Lil Ryan with 31 putts.

Sunday Competition 4/6/25

Sunday’s stableford event was won by Bill Reid with 37 points on countback over Luke Wray who took second place. Brynn Matthews and Gary Spence both had 34 followed by Tony McLaughlin and Ray Turner on 32. Alan Bill won the mystery holes on the Goulburn Solar 3rd, C L Concreting 10th and Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th.  The jackpot on the Mitre 10 hole went to Chris Ryan, Gary Spence was nearest the pin on the Alan Bill Electrical 7th.   The drive and pitch holes were won by Max Sakiasi on the Lee and Thomas hole and Bill Reid won the Carpet Court hole.

Next Sunday April 13 is the Annual Tully v RSL 4BBB stableford.

Goulburn Soldiers 12 hole competition

Jeff Edwards scored a countback win with 23 points last week over Hayden Ward and Stephen Rigby. Sam Cosgrove had 22, Scott Sherer 21 and Alan McDonald and Don Grimston both had 20. Ian Baxter rounded off the rundown with 19 after a countback.

Ladies

Heather Buchana won the ladies A grade last Monday with 32 points and took the mystery holes on the Priceline 2nd, D One Accounting 11th and the ARW Multigroup15th

Ruth Beveridge won the B Grade with 32 points as well. The rundown went to Jenni Price 31, and Beryl Gray 25 points.

Sunday Competition 30/3/ 25

Ray Turner won the stableford best 9 event with 26 points. Eddie Sivell was next best on 25 taking second place   followed by Russ Schmitt, Max Sakiasi  and Alan Bill all on 23, Ken Wray and Sam McDonald on 22 and Gary Spence, after a countback, on 21.

Bill Reid won the jackpot on the Mitre 10 hole, Tony McLaughlin was nearest the pin on Alan Bill Electrical 7th, Gary Spence nearest the pin on Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th, Russ Schmitt drive and Pitch on Lee and Tho0mas 13th and Ray Turner drive and pitch on Carpet Court 16th.
