Gordon Hotel Sunday Competition

This week the Gordon Hotel Competition was the Monthly Medal stroke and was taken out by Chris Bruton with a nett 60 to also win C Grade. Ray Turner 66 and Mick Gray 66 won A and B Grade respectively. The ball rundown also saw Shane Cooper 63, Roy McNair 66, Tim James 67 and Russ Lieschke 69 c/b grab a ball. Nearest to the pin on the Goulburn Produce 5th went begging this week unbelievably with nobody hitting the green the Tully Park 7th went to Trent Cooper and on the Goulburn Workers Club 8th Ken Wray showed his class to knock it the closest.

Next Sunday is a Stableford in conjunction with the first round of our inaugural Pairs Championship pair up with someone for the next 3 weeks for your chance to win.

Saturday will have another round of our 9 hole par 3 events with social and junior players encouraged to come along. Tee off between 9 am and 3 pm.

Trakka, Adam Boxsell, James Parent and Tim James won the social division with 52.5. The ball run down saw Shane Cooper, Tracey Cooper, Trent Cooper, Josh Cooper, Don Grimston, Tony Clewett, Ken Wray, Marty Wiese, Russ Lieschke, Col Eggins, Eddie Hawkins and Ron Nunn all grab a ball. Nearest to the pin on the Goulburn Produce 5th went to Ken Wray the Tully Park 7th went to Shane Cooper and the Goulburn Workers Club 8th was Trent Cooper. Next Sunday is the Monthly Medal Stroke Competition.

Goulburn Soldiers Club Mid Week Competition

This week the Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole stabelford competition was taken out by Tim James with 24 points. Brian Larkin 21, Tony Clewett 20, Kevin Peterson 18 and Marty Hunter 18 all collected a ball for their efforts. Helen Carne also picked up a ball for her efforts with 10 points. Come down during the week for a hit the comp only costs $7.

The ball rundown saw Russell Schmitt 40, Ross Stacey 39, Ken Wray 38, Brian Mills 36 and Mick Gray 36 all grab a ball. Nearest to the pin on the Goulburn Produce 5th went to Chris Elliott the Tully Park 7th went to Tom Heath and the Goulburn Workers Club 8th was also taken out by Chris Elliott. Next week the Gordon Hotel Sunday comp is a 4 Ball Aggregate Tully vs RSL at Gouburn Golf Club.

Goulburn Soldiers Club Mid Week Competition

This week the Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole stabelford competition was taken out by Di Schmitt with 25 points. Darrell Spence 24, Russ Schmitt 22, Brian Larkin 21 and Wally Thorn 21 all picked up balls in the run down. Helen Carne grabbed a ball with 9 points. Come down during the week for a hit the comp only costs $7.

Par 3 Competition

The 9 hole par 3 competition is growing in popularity with a good turn out this month with everyone having a good time with some great results to show for it. Joy Leary destroyed the field with nett 18. Our next par 3 competition will be the first Saturday of July.
