Sunday Competition
Russell Lieschke was at his best in great conditions for his 2 over round for 41 points to win the stableford event. Mark Berrisford 39, Don Grimston 37, Tom Heath 37 and Eddie Hawkins made the rundown. Josh cooper won the mystery holes for the Priceline Pharmacy 2nd, Merino Fuels 3rd and Classique Chemdry 10th. Drive and pitch on the Millenium Windows 1st was won by Mark Berrisford and the nearest the pin on the Workers Club 8th was won by Tom Heath.
Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole Comp
Greg Maskill finally broke through for a win last week when he scored 27 points for the 12 hole event. Alan Bill performed well in the snowy conditions to make 26 and was followed by Ken Wray on 24, Malcolm Young 23, Alan McDonald 23 and John Peterson 23 after a countback.
Ladies
The ladies 4 ball best ball event was won by the team of Julia Scamperli and Beryl Howe with 38 points. The drive and pitch on the Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th was won by Beryl Gray
Juniors
Domonique Brown won the junior chipping and putting competition on Saturday. Tully Park juniors return this Saturday for coaching 9 to 10.30am.
Notices: Sunday August 25th is a Stroke Monthly Medal. The 2019/20 committee members are Shane Cooper (Pres.), Chris Webb (vice Pres.) Thanks to James Accounting for getting the book done for our meeting.
The annual Kevin Allen Consistency Competition commences from Friday September 8 and will run over the following 6 weeks. Prizes include vouchers for $100, $60 and $30 for first, second and third with players best Goulburn Soldiers Club round of the week counting toward the best four week total. Thanks to our volunteers for their efforts with readying the course clubhouse and food for the day. Anyone who can help with the coring this Saturday Aug 24 please let us know so we can prepare for the work on the day.
