Sunday Competition
Alan McDonald showed everyone how to play golf with 38 points on Sunday to win the stableford event. Tom James came in with 36 followed by Tom Heath, Trent Cooper and Ken Wray all on 35. Tony Clewett scored 34 , Eddie Sivell and Ian Baxter each had 32 for the rundown. Trent Cooper took the jackpot on Jeremy Ryan Plumbing hole at 3.2m and the Mitre 10 nearest the pin. Adam Bruckshaw won the Lee and Thomas Drive and Pitch.
Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole
Phil Heath took out the Gouburn Soldiers Club 12 hole competition last week with 25 points. On 23 were Maxine McLaughlin, Brett Buckley, Alan McDonald and Lindsay Sergeant. Max Sakiasi and Wayne Minney both had 22 in a rundown that went to 21 on a 4 card countback.
Ladies
Beryl Howe scored 32 points last week to win the 1st division for the stableford event and Frances Miners took division 2 with 29 as well as the mystery holes for the Goulburn Soldiers Club, Mandy’s restaurant and D.One Accounting holes with 8 points. The rundown included Heather Buchanan 29, Maxine Mclaughlin 26 and Beryl Gray 25.
Slater Drafting Par 3
The September round of the Slater Drafting Par 3 is on this Saturday Sept 10 with tee off from 7.30am to 11am.
Notices: Sunday September 11 Par event.. The annual Kevin Allen Consistency Competition starts Friday Sept 9. The Special Meeting is set for Sept 11 at 1pm in a bid to find a secretary and captain for the club.
