Ladies Golf Results 18 Hole Stableford 10th July 2023 & Mystery Holes

The winner was Ruth Beveridge with 28 points on a countback

The Ladies mystery holes were the Alan Bill Electrical 7th , Mandy’s Restaurant sponsored 10th and the Goulburn Soldiers sponsored 14th  , which Ruth Beveridge also won with 5 points . The ball rundown went to Georgina Cook also with 28 points.

The Mid Week Competition sponsored by the Goulburn Soldiers Club  was won by Tony Clewett with 24 points with a three card countback beating Hayden ward and Ron Nunn in a close finish , next was Chris Ryan on 23 points , Eddie Anning on 22 points followed by Ken Wray , Russell Lieschke and Michael McDonald all on 22points

The Sunday Competition was a stroke event with Ian Peterson winning with a score of 65 nett , Bill Reid came in second with a score of 66 nett , Mac Fife with 67 nett beating Mick Wilson on a countback , Tony Clewett had 68 nett and Trent Cooper and Tony McLaughlin both with 69 nett.

Max Sakiasi won the Jackpot  2nd hole sponsored by Priceline Pharmacy ,  Bill Reid won the BC Training Nearest The Pin 6th hole and Ian Baxter won the Drive & Pitch 16th hole sponsored by Carpet Court .

Trent Cooper got an eagle on par 4 11th hole and Mac Fife got an eagle by chipping in on the par 5 3rd hole .

Next week is an Irish Team Event with teams of four competing against each other.

Sunday Competition

27 starters braved the weather for the stableford event at Tully today.  Mac Fife won with   36 points and in second place was Tom Heath after a countback on 32  . The rundown included  Andrew Balabka, Chris Ryan and Ben Hall also on 32, John Gray 31, Roly Wong 30, and on 29 after countback Bill Reid and Mick Gray.

Mystery holes for July was won by   on the Free One Design, Goulburn Soldiers Club and Scott Reid Plumbing holes Mick Regterschot with 6 after countback. The nearest the pin on the Alan Bill Electrical was won by John Gray. The D.One Accounting drive and pitch was won by Josh Cooper. The jackpot on the Workers Club hole Brett Buckley 5.38m.

Sunday July 16 Stroke (white markers)

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole mid-week competition

Chris Ryan was back in the winners circle with 26 points last week for the Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole event. Ron Nunn and Adam Bruckshaw both had 25. On 23 were Dean Hearne, Hayden Ward and Julie Hearne, with Eddie Anning rounded out the rundown on 22.

Ladies

Georgina Cook won last week with 78 nett. Ratna Rankmore was next best on 80. Beryl Howe took the putting honours with 34 putts after a countback.

Slater Drafting Par 3

The July competition of the Slater Drafting Par 3 was won Russ Schmitt on nett 29. The next par 3 is on August 12.

Notices:  Just a reminder that memberships are now due. AGM for Tully is on August 13 commencing at 1.30pm. Agenda items must be in by August 1.Members are asked to come along. Volunteers are needed to fill the vacancies left by some committee members stepping down after many years of service.

Ladies Golf Results for 26th June 2023

18 Hole Stableford and Mystery Holes

Winner was Heather Buchanan with 36 points

The mystery holes were 4, 6 and 12 , Heather Buchanan also won this with 6 points , sponsors were Free One Design , AJM Windows and Aaron’s Trees . Beryl Gray won a ball in the run down with 31 points.

The 12 Hole Mid-Week comp was won by Julie Hearne with a massive 29 points  who won the Goulburn Soldiers Club $25 voucher , the rundown went to Jeff Edwards , Wayne Blay on 22 points , Marty Smith , Hayden Ward and Michael Maepaa with 21 points  and Trent Cooper on 20 points .

The Sunday Comp was a Canadian Foursome which saw Ken Wray and Ian Peterson win with 65.5 strokes , second was Bill Reid and Trent Cooper with 66 , third was Marty Brooker and Ben Hall with 66 and fourth was Nicole and Wayne Minney with 67.5 .

Bill Reid and Trent Cooper won the Lee & Thomas Drive & Pitch on the 13th hole , Ken Wray won the Mitre 10 Nearest The Pin on the 5th hole and Max Sakiasi won the Goulburn Soldiers Club jackpot hole on the 14th hole

Michael Wilson won the stoke competition and the monthly Medal for A Grade with nett 67 after a countback over Mac Fife who took second. Alan Bill won B grade with 69 and Glenn Baxter took Cgrade with 68. In the rundown were Mick Regterschot 68, Tony McLaughlin 70, Mitch Cook 70, Trent Cooper 71, Simon Jiang 71, Russell Lieschke 72, Ray Crawford 27, and Sam McDonald 73 on countback. Tom James won the jackpot on the Workers Club hole, Ken Wray was nearest the pin on Priceline 2nd and Mick Wilson won the drive and pitch on Aaron’s Trees. 38 starters

Eddie Hawkins scored 27 points for a countback win last week over Malcolm Young. On 26 were jeff Edwards and Maxine Mclaughlin, Roly Wong had 24, Ron Nunn and greg Maskill 23, Ken Wray and Graham Mansfield 22 in a rundown that went to 21 on countback. 34 starters

Ladies

Heather Buchanan won last week with 75 nett and took the putting prize with 33. The rundown included Jenni Price 78 and Lil Ryan 78.

The 4 ball stableford aggregate was won by Mick Regterschot and Josh Cooper with atotal of 68 on Sunday. Trent Cooper teamed up with Max Sakiasi for 64, Sam Woodbury and Mac Fife came in with 63 as did Simon Jiang and Glenn Baxter. Andrew balabka won the nearestthe pin on the WorkersClub hole, Trent Cooper took the drive and pitch on the D.One Accounting hole and Ian Baxter won the jackpot on the Mitre 10 hole.

Sunday June 25 is the Stroke Monthly Medal.

Liam harmer was back in the winners circle last week with 26 points for the Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole competition. On 25 were kevin Breen, hayden Ward , Darryl Robertson and Don Grimston. Marty Smith has 23, while Maxine Mclaughlin and Malcolm Young both had 22. There were 26 starters in a bad weather week.

 

Ladies

Ratna Rankmore scored 30 points last week for a win in the Ladies stableford event. Maxine Mclaughlin was in the rundown for her 28. Frances Miners won the mystery hole on the Mitre 10, Argyle Cleaning and Alan Bill Electrical holes with 5 points.

Sunday Competition

Jon Gegg won the stableford event on Sunday with 39 points and Chris Elliott scored 37 points for second. Leading the rundown were Andrew balabka35, Russell Lieschke 34, Eddie Hawkins 33, Ray Turner 33 Trent Cooper 32 and Mick Regterschot 30.

The jackpot on the Alan Bill Electrical hole went to Andrew Balabka. Joe Spurek won the nearest the pin on the Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th. The drive and pitch on the carpet court 16th was picked up by Russell Lieschke and the mystery holes for June was won by Chris Ryan with 8 points on the BC training, BioCleanse and Agency holes.

Next Sunday is a stableford 4 ball aggregate so get your partner organised.

Phil Heath took out top honours last week with 27points closely followed by Kevin Breen on 26. On 25 was Ian Baxter then John Blair on 24. Jeff Edwards, Maxine Mclaughlin, Ron Nunn and Hayden Ward all had 23 and Eddie Hawkins and graham Todd on 22 made up the rundown. 40 players took part.

 

Ladies

Heather Buchanan played well for a nett 69 in the stroke event to win division 1 and Beryl Howe took division 2 with 76. The rundown included Maxine Mclaughlin 73 and Lil Ryan 77. Putting competitions were won by Maxine McLaughlin with 28 for div 1 and Lil Ryan div 2 with 33 ptts.

Sunday Competition

Forty starters lined up for the ambrose event on Sunday with the best social team being Wayne James/ Shane Munroe 66 and the best mens team were Andrew Balabka/ Josh Cooper 59.

Second place getters for each division were  Jarrad Twaddell/ Habib Sorial 67 in the social and  Trent Cooper/ Jon Gegg 61.25  for the mens.

The rundown included Jason Gray/ Bill Reid 62, Ben Hall/ Marty Brooker 62.25, Glenn Baxter/ Eddie Sivell 63, Brynn Matthews/Gary Spence 64.25, and John Smith/ Ray Turner 65.5

Nearest the pin on the Mitre 10 hole was Ian Baxter

The Workers Club nearest the pin went to Shane Munroe

The team drive and pitch was won by  Justin Cross/ Mick Regterschot on the Lee and Thomas hole and on Ginny’s Building and Carpentry was John Smith/ Ray Turner.

Jon Gegg continued his recent good form with a countback win on 27 points last week for the  Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole event. Roly Wong also had 27 the Russell Lieschke on 26. Ron Nunn had 25 followed by Greg Maskill on 24 then to 23 with Trent Cooper, Stephen Rigby and Greg Robertson. After a countback the final balls went to Kevin Breen and Andrew Finlaison each on 22.

Ladies

Georgina cook won last week’s stableford event with 27 pints after a countback over Beryl Gray.

Mystery Holes winner was Lil Ryan with 5 points on countback on the ARW Multigroup, D One accounting and Priceline pharmacy holes.

Slater Drafting Par 3

The June round of the Slater drafting Par 3 was won in style by Graham Mansfield with a nett score of 23.

This week was the May Monthly Medal stroke event. 30 starters took on the frosty conditions with Russ Lieschke the overall winner with a nett score of 63.

The A Grade winner was Russ Lieschke with 63 nett

The B Grade winner was Brynn Mathews with 67 nett

The C grade winner was Glenn Baxter with 69 nett

The ball rundown went to: Brynn Mathews, Mick Regtershot, Mitch Cook, Glen Baxter, Tony Clewett, Tom James, Roly Wong, Ray Turner and John Smith

Nearest the pin on the Goulburn Workers 8th hole was won by Tom Heath. The drive and pitch on Lee & Thomas 13th hole was won by Russ Lieschke. The jackpot hole on the Argyle Cleaning 17th hole was not won and jackpots next week.

Next week is the 2 Person Ambrose with a shotgun start at 7.30 for 8.00.

The ball rundown went to Ronn Nunn on 25 points, Greg Robertson on 24 points, Tony McLaughlin Russ Lieschke and Trent Cooper on 23 points, Brian Larkin John Smith Graham Todd Greg Maskill Mick Gordon all on 21 points, Sophia Devries and Max Sakiasi on 20 points on a 5 card countback.

The Tully Ladies played an 18 hole stableford with best 9 holes counting. Mystery hole competition was also included.

Division 1 winner was Jenny Price with 23 points.

Division 2 winner was Beryl Howe with 24 points.

Mystery Holes winner was Lil Ryan with 8 points.

The rundown included M. McLaughlin G. Cook and B. Gray all on 22 points.

Sunday Competition

The second round of the Foursomes Championships was played in cold windy conditions with the same teams lining up. The eventual winners were Chris Ryan and Ray Turner on nett 70.

The ball rundown went to: Mac Fife and Trent Cooper, Tony McLaughlin and Brynn Matthews and Chris Elliot and Gary Spence.

Our overall Foursomes Champions for 2023 are Trent Cooper and Mac Fife with a combined Gross Score of 155. Their score would also win the Nett comp however The Nett result goes to Chris Ryan and Ray Turner.

The first nearest the pin on the Priceline Pharmacy 2nd was won by Russ Schmitt, the second nearest the pin on the Goulburn Soldiers Club 9th was won by Mac Fife and the drive and pitch on Aarons Trees 12th was won by Tony McLaughlin and Brynn Mathews. No Jackpot hole this week.

Next week is the May monthly medal stroke event.

Ladies

The Tully Ladies played an 18 hole stroke and putting event which was also the 3rd Championship round. Division 1 was won by H. Buchanan on 65 nett, Division 2 was won by B. Howe on 69 nett. Both ladies also won their putting competitions with 25 and 30 putts respectively.

The rundown included G. Cook on74, J. Price on 76 and R. Rankmore on 78.

Ray Turner finished victorious after a 3 card countback with 35 points on Sunday in the stableford event. Josh Cooper took second place followed by Russell Lieschke each on 35. Tony Mclaughlin scored 34, Garry handley , John Smith, and Glenn Baxter all had 33, and on 32 were Ian Peterson and Tony Clewett.

The nearest the pin on the Alan Bill 7th was won by Kerry Bensley and Russell Lieschke took the drive and pitch on Ginny’s building and Carpentry 1st. The jackpot did not go off on the Goulburn Soldiers Club 14th.

Scott Sherer scored 25 points for a win last week in the 12 hole Goulburn Soldiers Club event. Marty Smith , Kim Fahey, and Pat Bruckshaw each had 23. On 22 were Brett Buckley and Adam Bruckshaw and on 21 Howard Spark, Greg Maskill, Kerry Bensley, Eddie Hawkins Max Sakiasi, Bill Reid and Mick Gray. The rundown went to 20 on countback with Dean Hearne and Brian Larkin taking the balls. There were 45 starters.

Ladies

The Tully Ladies played a stableford last week with Jenni Price taking division 1 on a countback with 32 points and Beryl Howe winning division 2 on 29.

Mystery holes was won by Beryl Howe with 7 points on the AJM Windows, Lee and Thomas and Goulburn Soldiers club holes. The rundown included Heather Buchanan 32, Maxine Mclaughlin 24 and Georgina Cook 21.

Slater Drafting Par 3

The May round of the Slater Drafting Par 3 was won by Garth Stacey on nett 29 after a countback. Russ Schmitt was next on 29 followed by Darren Jones in his first round with 30.
