Rheannah Webb capped off a stellar event with another win 3 & 2. Lachlan Bill fought well to go down 3 & 2 in his final match in this age- event. Ned Slater pulled out the big ones for the last round in his first season before being beaten 6 & 4. These kids did the club proud with their efforts and manner and should be commended.

Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 hole comp

Derrell Spence has won the $25 voucher for his 27 point round closely followed by Russell Schmitt on 25. The rundown went to 21 on a countback. With the course in such great condition it would be a shame not to take the challenge to these players and participate in the comp that helps support the club.

Pennants

The Men’s B Grade handicap team won their final game in style with a 5 to 1 success over Queanbeyan. Trent Cooper (3 &2), Marty Hunter (3 & 2), Ray Turner (1 up), Adam Boxsell (4 & 3), and Tracker Tahana (6 & 5) all found their mojo to rack up the points. Tim James was unlucky with a 5 & 3 loss. Thanks to the men for their efforts this year but they were unfortunately left out of the final 2.

The Tully Park Gold Creek junior team struggled hard but were not able to make the grade this week going down 4 to 2 to the top placed Gungahlin Lakes team. The Tully trio of Rheannah Webb (5 & 4), Ned Slater (6 & 5), and Lachlan Bill (4 & 3) all went down leaving their Gold Creek team mates fighting to rack up some points. With Ellie Bance getting a win and Matt Corver and Adam Harris squaring their match the team were unable to ascend the ladder this wee. With the final round at Yowani next Sunday they will need a win or some good results to go their way to make a finals berth.
